Sandy just stop, you're talking so much nonsense you must have a ton foil hat on, how in anyway is that start to get seasonnfor spurs harder than Liverpool?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Knappyrash getting his knickers in a twist again.

Both have played Chelsea this season. Different competitions, but still played them.

Spurs have played United. Always a toughie, whatever their form.

Liverpool have played a Championship side from last season, and a team that dodged relegation by a whisker.

Spurs played West Ham, always a tough London Derby (their cup final)

Liverpool played Everton, a team they practically own.

Spurs thrashed Southampton, who are one of the form teams in the Prem.

Liverpool played Arsenal, which are woeful on the road, against any half decent side.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus, you're getting worse

Are you related to Wahl by any chance?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And another one.

The scousers flooding onto the Spurs board again. Pathetic.

Villa hit Liverpool for 7 then got dicked by a team with around 4 or 5 players playing out of position. Funny old league this season.

You're worse than a tory pm for spin, Everton were literally top of the league when we played them.

Look, your in your 60s or whatever and are more concerned with a team you don't support than one you do. Enjoy spurs, stop hating Liverpool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not interested in Liverpool in the slightest mate. I am just saying Spurs have had a tougher set of fixtures than Liverpool. You still haven`t disproved me, despite going into a rant against me personally.

Added in Spurs have been halfway around Europe twice already this season. Whilst Liverpool had a short trip across the North Sea.

Oh and why are you on the Spurs board, it seems you have a problem with Spurs, not me with Liverpool.

Early days. League still looks as though it has the potential to be wide open still.

Everton will be aiming to get back in the European places this season I would imagine and that is obviously extremely doable for them.

We were as poor opening day as we have been in any game over last 2 years of some pretty poor displays, Everton could have had a hatful and played better in games after that which they won more competitively. We started their run of belief after they got over a bit of a hoodoo against us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That performance was nowhere near as bad as Brighton away last season
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Christ I had just about erased that one from my memory - I think Poch was sacked a week or so later.

We started Everton’s purple patch - this will be their first loss of the season
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Aren`t Southampton supposedly one of the poor sides Spurs have played? You know the side Spurs thumped 5-2 on their own patch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Where do you see Saints finishing Sandy - pushing for Europe? Top ten?

Anybody can win one game - you seem to think that if one team beats another on any given week then that makes them better than that team overall.

Let’s not forget not only have Everton beaten us, but they also thumped West Ham 4-1 whilst we could only draw 3-3 - so what does that say?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Just going on what posters are saying, Spurs apparently haven`t played anybody yet, other than cow herders and pub teams.

Everton thumping West Ham was like a reserve team carabou cup game. Zero comparison. And West Ham stole a point at WHL.

Everton catching Spurs cold first game of the season, and since then Spurs are unbeaten, much more relevant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Those comments were because you stated that Liverpool’s opening fixtures were easy:

Leeds H
Arsenal H
Sheff Utd H
Chelsea A
Villa A
Everton A

Compared to:

Everton H
Newcastle H
West Ham H
Man Utd a
Saints A
Burnley A

You reckoned Liverpool had it easy but we had it tough
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you don't mind me saying, you always seen to side with opposition sides, rather than anything Spurs do. I am beginning to think just perhaps you are not a Spurs supporter at all. Just saying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sandy I have been a season ticket holder for years and used to go to a few away games to before away tickets became rather than rocking horse sheite.

Yesterday you accused me of being a lesser fan and moan because I simply stated that our defence isn’t good enough to win the league. Today you reckon I’m not a Spurs fan because I do not agree with you.

Well to be honest I wonder if you are a proper Spurs fan or the ultimate wum who is trying to make the Spurs fan base look ridiculous - I’m just saying

We will be ahead of you within 3 weeks and won’t see you again for the rest of the season. Everton will be 7th at best and DCL will finish with about 14 goals.

You are just the fast start team this year.

Everton will finish 7th/8th at best. Leeds will finish 9th or 10th. Everyone spunkinh over them need to give their head a wobble. They made a decent start like every other team has done in the past. They don’t have the squad to get Top 4 and neither do teams like Leeds. Will be the usual suspects come Xmas.

Yep agree with that, I think Leeds fans are just enjoying the ride but anyone who genuinely thinks they will be top 7 by the end of the season needs to have a long lie down. They have been good to watch though and I hope that continues as I have enjoyed their games.

glad you're enjoying our games. i don't think theres too many of our fans thinking of europe as most said before the season started they'd be happy just to stay up. i am fairly optimistic and think 10th is possible.
we have bought well though so we don't really know how good we actually might be.
