Why is Under not starting?

To be fair to BR that looks like a team selected with Braga in mind. I suspect that Evans will come back for that game and, if not, Morgan probably would struggle to cope with three games in close succession.

The squad has stood up so far this season. Who would have thought that we’d be glad to see the likes of Mendy starting? The likes of him, Albrighton, Thomas, Praet, Justin and Fofana are going to have to do a job for us until the Europa is out of the way and we’ve got a few back. The good thing is that they’ll all have games in the bank and some of them have made a case to remain first choice.

We’re just going to have to hang in for now. If we’re anywhere near top six at Christmas with a few players back then we might have a chance of a good season. Of course, anything could happen between now and then.

so apparently the pitch is not premier league standard
