Fans allowed

In Belfast, before restricting fans again recently, only home fans allowed in, so this could be the way to start a return across the UK.

Mon Chelsea.

Gut feel is this is wrong unless all fans, even restricted to 2000, can attend. Those in the lower tiers getting an advantage by having home support there?(albeit it very limited).

Will just be home fans.

Personally I'm not bothered about 2000 fans. They'll all be spread out so will be no atmosphere. I think I'd rather watch on TV than go to Elland Road and stand by myself in the cold with no atmosphere.

Didn’t think people were allowed to travel out of tiers.
Personally I think it’s stupid. Should be fair game for everyone.

I had a look on the Chelsea website earlier and it's definitely just home fans. Also mentioned they have commitments to corporate tickets which will eat up some of the allocation too.

Seems silly to assume that all leeds fans are in tier three areas.

tv is fine, not going to risk it by travelling anywhere right now

Hope Chelsea do not raise their game against us,

I tell you what mate, from what I saw of Leeds yesterday,Chelsea will have to raise their game.
Bielsa ,(as I commented on here a couple of years ago),is a very good manager and he has made a very good job of it at Leeds.I think you will give us a hard game.

I think the Leeds open fast game will probably suit us as long as we match the perceived fitness levels that Leeds are perported to be operating under

Just home fans.
This will feel like a damp squib without away fans to jibe at.

Bates at Chelsea now wouldn't need to much electric to do it his way would he?.

I think its a ridiculous risky decision to pander to the money in football.

So many anomalies in teh dictates from this government that they have lost huge amount of credibility a long time ago, but rulings like this have a direct potential impact on people's health and I don't believe that the risk at this time is worth the reward for the moneyed few.

Anybody here gone into the ballot for the Leeds game?

Absolutely crazy, don't know how they've gone from scrapping the return of fans which was hoped for from October as that's why the National League held off starting. Then a "national lockdown", then to stricter tiers which somehow magically sees the return of a very small number of fans. Probably last until late Jan then they'll panic again quoting the cost of the Christmas relaxation.

I’ve had to shut my club for a month, but my governing body encourages us to play tennis in a car park.

We’re now about to exit lockdown into stricter restrictions than when we entered it but with some bizarre anomalies such as fans.

I’m
Expecting us to go back into lockdown or havevtiers tightened again in January.

Seems logical

Tennis and golf came back before a lot of things back in May. Whilst it's not been as strict this 2nd lockdown, feels like the decision to shut some things down was done just for the sake of it.

2000 tickets for Chelsea fans? I didn't think there were that many.

Many clubs abused the relaxing idea restrictions first time around and as a consequence many other sports complained this time around and hence blanket ban.

The gov has lost its credibility and therefore the respect from public which leads to a lack of adherence to rules which makes it worse for everyone.

Mid October Johnson says a lockdown is height of absurdity, 2 weeks later we’re in a lockdown. How he expects people to trust the government after fiascos like that is beyond me.
