Is the German Masters a minor ranking tournament? 27-31 Jan
German Masters is a decent tournament, it is only a 5 day tournament, just 32 players involved, qualifiers for it were played around November. I hope Judd Trump will be able to play in it and get a chance to defend his title.

Higgins tests positive and is out of the German Masters.
Ronnie didn't play in the qualifiers in November.
Robertson, Selby, Allen, Kyren, Yan all lost the qualifiers.
Another cheap ranking title for Trump then.... 🤔🙄
Not his fault if other players can't qualify for an event.
He's not certain to win it though. He'll have to play great stuff.

Bottle job, he gave Trump too many chances in that last frame, would like Jack to get through, would be a good final
Or Judd Trump played very well to make 3 centuries in a row and then make a good frame winning break in the 10th frame where the balls were awkward! Barry hardly made a mistake in those 3 frames Judd was just on fire and that then put pressure on Barry.
I'll stick with my analysis, hope Jack wins tomorrow... But he won't..
Would be nice if you could give Judd Trump a little bit credit once in a while.
I just want Lisowski to win, he's good enough
9-2 win for Judd Trump, lot of frames were close but Judd won all the close frames, defended the German Masters title and that's his 4th ranking title of the season what a player! now time for him to end the season by winning the Players championship, Tour Championship and world championship!

Me either, half the top 16 missing, & a cake walk for Trump, although Hawkins should have beat him in the semi, roll on the Welsh open
At the end of the day Judd Trump has won the title. He still had to beat Ding Junhui and made a brilliant comeback against Hawkins. Wetherbyterrier for some reason just cannot give him any credit at all.

I still say well played when he wins though. Strange thing is Judd is supposed to be your 2nd favourite but seems to be your worst these days.
Trump has obviously turned out to be a great player, but I just can't warm to the guy for some reason.
I have a stronger affiliation to the older players (Higgins, Ronnie) who I grew up watching.
