4 more points than we had at this point last season, and that's when we started so badly the manager got sacked
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Truth is, we are very lucky to have as many points as we do.

How we got 9 points from those three consecutive games against Brighton, Brom and Burnley, I will never know.

We have not progressed at all despite having a far better squad than a year ago.

We are serious danger of wasting the best squad we have had in decades. I can see it all falling apart this summer as we end the season trophyless and out of CL.

Horrible game to watch such a cowardly, gutless way to play football always on the back foot relying on the front 2 to convert virtually every chance they get which is very few.
Blaming the defence as usual when they are under constant threat due to own outdated bore-fest tactics.
Turning Kane into a DM.
This manager is finished at the top level and Im afraid to say is turning into a multi lingual Pulis. His low block cant be bothered to play football ideas will never change.
Levy has to carry the can for this awful football he can fack off with his star struck Moaninho lapdog attitude and realise his desperate grab at CL football has failed on a massive scale. Now even the prized assets of skilled younger players are falling in value by the day as Moaninho turns every single player in the squad to Eric Dier.
Some of the worst football Ive ever seen worse than the 90's as at least then we had the excuse the squad was a pile of cack.

Can`t argue with any of this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope.

You have past the point of the peak of the hybrid Poch/Mourinho team and are now very much in the Jose phase. The peak was where Mourinho sorted the defence out but the goalscoring threat was still there from Poch's team. The peak was 1-6 v United and all of those high scoring match early in the season. Or possibly the 2-0 over City. There is now a phase of labouring to results for a few weeks, then Jose turns on the players and the media turns on Jose. Things cannot get better from here.

Haven’t you got some pants to sniff or something you crusty old mug?

Oh Ace....how lovely to hear from you

Haven't you got somebody to abuse somewhere...I take it this is just a token gesture, far below your usual standard

Pants to sniff definitely my favourite Ace insult

Anyway, I’m not jumping on the bandwagon and saying “Jose out”, but I did say on the match thread yesterday what a bang average midfield that was with Winks and Sissoko. Knew we were doomed right from the start and that’s down to the manager’s selection. No way in any shape or form should Winks or Sissoko be starting premier league games, unless there’s an injury and we need cover. Jose needs to stop with this 3 man defensive midfield Bolloks and try to integrate Ali back in whilst Gio is injured. Just give him another chance. I am so sick and tired of this lot throwing away late leads.

Ace spends what seems an unhealthy amount of time on the pants sniffing dept...it's almost as if....

well I don't know what his proclivities are, but one can't help wondering...

Have to say I missed the game due to being asleep, but have just watched the “highlights” and it looks like we had quite a few chances?!

Are you sure you didn’t fall asleep during and because of the game ?

On balance we were very unlucky last night. Had Son made 2nil instead of hitting the post its a different story.

I'm just glad we didn't lose the game. Fulham are a good side who have beat Leicester and drawn with Liverpool since their really bad start.

I see the players are still playing for manager but some need to do more. Ndombele was good again in flashes but him and few others were unable to keep the ball.

We badly need another CM to helo PEH.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Another wum here, blaming the players and attributing no fault for the manager who picked and set up the team, played Sissoko forward with effectively 3 DMs onfield at home to a bottom three team, and then when we needed a goal the response was to bring Lamela on despite Bale, Dele and Lucas being on the bench. Unlucky not to win? We were lucky to get a draw in the end, Fulham were the better side second half and had that one chance we had from Son gone in it would’ve papered over some huge cracks. Can’t see how any fan would find this acceptable - the tactics, the performances and now the results.
----------------------------------------------------------------------Agreed. Playing a bottom 3 side at home with a back four and 3 defensive MF players is ridiculous.
Against the top teams, fair enough, but in these games it shows such lack of ambition.
