Cavani, Martial, Jota, Firmino and arguably Greenwood are better at nine than Rashford.
ole must be one hell of a manager to have utd in first.
i honestly would only have fernades in the team and maybe maguire but i wouldn't even really wan't him at leeds and we're desperate for a cb.

People being a bit harsh on United players, they’re top for a reason, anyway fwiw, if you pooled both squads together when everyone was fit, probably the only 2 people I’d say we’re dead certs would be Alisson & VVD, the rest is down to personal choice

Rashford, Salah and Mane aren't stupid, so could make it work, I think.
Got_Better its obvious you haven’t been watching Man Utd this season. We are conceding at a ridiculous rate that is unsustainable. A lot of the goals we have conceding have been quite unlucky really.
We have conceding less than expected goals in 3 league games out of 17 if you take in the 0. expected goals should have been clean sheets. We are due a lucky game in defense Got_Better as we have been insanely unlucky this season hence why we conceded so much despite conceding very few chances.

I’d say a large chunk of the pressure is on Liverpool. Lose and we’re six behind, which could prove difficult to claw back considering the boost in belief United would get.
There’s also a different pressure on United though, that of making a statement of intent, even the need to prove to themselves that they deserve to be where they are. If we win comfortably today, or even a narrow win where we’ve dominated you, then that could mean a massive swing in initiative.
I would guess that United would be VERY happy with a draw.

Bruno works best with a proper CF he can play close to or with split strikers. It’s one of the reasons why Cavani looks so much more valuable than Martial right now.
With TAA and Robertson, rather than using Rashford at nine, I’d actually be more tempted to play:

—Thiago——Pogba
Salah—Bruno—Mane
With Bruno as false nine.
People really forget just how bad Rashford is at nine. Martial is a *far* better option there, and that isn’t saying much.

Then I'd probably include Maguire and pogba too

Fabinho isn't a better CB than Maguire. He's not even a CB ffs. He's just filling in.
Maguire would walk into the Liverpool team. For me he's better than Gomez n Matip. Only VVD is superior.
Weird that, I did the same BBC thing and could only fit three LFC players in - and one of those won't be playing.
Not that I'm suggesting that that means United will win.
It's just that despite United having some significant gaps, they also have better quality in the 'better quality department', thus, they could win. Which is more a reflection on LFCs ordinariness than United's strengths.

He has certainly had a big impact for us and we’ve missed him dearly in recent weeks. Been a very good signing and very frustrating to lose him to injury. Not sure what Shinj finds so funny, he’s an excellent player.
