Another quality match thread from Bear, nice & early so we can hold plenty of pre-match discussion, and there is much to discuss.
Borough are very much a side that exceed the sum of their parts. Warnock once again getting 101% from the players at his disposal will be in the mix come end of the season.
However, they will lose games along the way when their physicality is matched. Hopefully Chris Hughton will have us well drilled in this area. 3 points to us methinks.

The best way to win this game is by continuing in the same vein as Saturday’s victory over Millwall. The Boro’will be smarting over their last defeat, and Colin certainly won’t want that sort of form to continue. Like the Millwall game this will be a physical affair, tbh Millwall were gentle by their normal standards, and it’s another game I expect the ball to spend a lot of time in the air. We have an excellent chance of winning this one but the first goal will be vital, get that and our confidence will blossom, we can’t afford to concede first. There’s no guarantee Judas will start as he doesn’t seem to be Colin’s favourite type of player. We may see a couple of changes but with the likes of Knockaert, Arter and Lolley to come in we certainly won’t be weakened. I think we won 3-0 at home last season, or was it the season before ? let’s hope for the same again to avenge that awful 1-0 away defeat. Great match thread, it would be nice to know what a few more Tricky and Boro fans think.

We all need a laugh during these dark times and Colin is starting to look like a Klingon.
He won't want to lose against us that's for sure, we look to be overcoming the early season malaise/loss of confidence and their is just the midfield weakness to plug. If Yates can keep scoring goals that will improve his confidence & overall game I hope.

None of us like Colin but oe thing that cant be denied is his ability as a motivator and he will have them fired up for this after a poor performance at the weekend.

Yes they are physical, but they have more onfield quality than Millwall. Having said that Howson, Britt and Watmore all started on the bench on Saturday and they are three of their better players.

CH seems to have decided what his best team is. The only places which are subject to change are wide midfield where duties are shared between Knockaert, Mighten, Lolley, and Ameobi.

Fingers crossed the pitch stands up to the soaking and the game goes ahead. The pitch down the A52 at lego land looked a bit like the old Baseball Ground last night

Well I’m far more optimistic having Chris Hughton in charge facing a Neil Warnock drilled side than I have been with any our recent managers.
In essence it’s two of the top English (championship) managers pitting their wits and I think Chris Hughton is the better man.

After a good win, Derby get a remarkable win and facing a Colin team as all the hallmarks of a typical Forest defeats..... not feeling optimistic but fingers crossed the recent form will see us through

I thought Arter was one of our best signings in the last window. Been disappointing though.

Difficult conditions for defenders and keepers tonight. Could be a few goals.

Going well at the moment everyone playing well. One thing for me though is that I would like to see Cafu demanding the ball a bit more. I think there is more to come from him.
It may be that the manager has told them to get the ball wide as much as possible though.

This is in essence, a clash of two of the most successful championship managers of recent times. I’m glad we have Hughton, far classier than Colin.

This is heart attack football, either team could be leading, Boro slightly on top.

Lino was miles behind the play. Looked off side by quite a way.

True.

Lino was on the 18 yard line when the ball was on the 6 yard line.

Why was Worrall standing and watching, more statuesque defending, thought we’d gotten over that, even worse Judas scores.
