That's what got him the sack from PSG.

Have a feeling the Liverpool posters might have their minds on something a bit more important at the moment than what a Chelsea poster thinks about his club's latest interim manager.

Happy to be corrected on that though.

No time for molly coddling or pandering to players that should do better when given a chance. You'll find out if they've got a character now and play with a point to prove or just sulk and prove him right. He hooked him for having a poor attitude.

Simple really, some players need a kick up the a r 5e.

At least it should be fun while it lasts !

Yep, I like his comments, mind you frank was very similar in that regard and look how that turned out.

So, was it reverse psychology by TT ? we shall have to see,but anyway sometimes youngsters do need a clip around the ear ,so to speak.

I've no issue with him subbing subs off if that's what he deems necessary, he's the manager and he'll live or die by his decisions.

What I do think is bad man management is openly critising an individual in public, that should have happened behind closed doors. He'd already humiliated him enough without the public dressing down - poor from him in my opinion.

Why did you put this on the pool board harle - finger trouble?

I don't remember putting it on the 'pool board to be honest ! it must have been the bloody cat !......
and for the money these people are on,and the impression that they can have on youngsters growing up and adoring them, a little humiliation might go a long way.

That's never been my style of man management harle and I don't believe in it. If I ever had a problem with any of my lads in the Navy, I'd clear the compartment, shut the door and let the individual know why I wasn't happy with them behind closed doors!

And to add, I'd be having a behind closed doors chat with you cat about now!

I'm not into this public calling out of players in this day & age, it's impractical.

It's incredibly easy for a footballer to access criticism with social media being what it is these days, if you look hard enough I'm sure you'll find a few blonkers who thinks Messi is sh!t, so if the manager piles it on I'd argue it makes him look weak/sheepish rather than strong. Not to mention it's a slippery slope for their own self interests considering players hold all the power today.

It's a good fan appeasing exercise, but other than that doesn't really serve a productive purpose.

Guess we'll find out on Tuesday. Also keep us updated on the cat.

It's the mans style of management,it's what the club hired him for,and I'm sure that if the powers that be don't like it, they will let him know in no uncertain manner!

I'm also sure that it might help CHO and anyone else who might have an attitude problem, look in the mirror at themselves !

.........the gold plated mirror I mean,
we are after all, supposed to be dealing with highly paid, supposedly professional sportsmen, are we not ?
