I think this article makes a lot more sense than some of the other nonsense calling for Klopp's head. He clearly wanted a centre back and didn't get the one he wanted, hence it only being a loan deal for the Turkish fella. The lad from Preston seemed like a pure panic buy also.
I wouldn't outright criticise the owners, as the centre back or centre backs Klopp wanted may not have been available. But given the success Klopp has brought to the club, it's insane to point the finger of blame at him when your squad is stretched imo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep its funny how the people who say dont blame Klopp also say don't blame the owners or the players. Like who else is to blame? Magic? God? Some grand ABL conspiracy? Clearly someone or some people are to blame, for me, it is clearly a lot of players who have had a job done attitude since March 2020 and the owners who have left us stagnant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We were doing fine this season up until around Christmas. I'm putting it down as all the defensive injuries finally catching up with us, which has led to a loss of momentum, and consequently a loss of confidence. Also the fact that there is no crowd to roar us on when we're in a rut has not helped. I think we just need to get these next few months out of the way, get everyone back for pre-season and have another good crack at it next season.
And hopefully there are at least some fans back in the grounds from the start of next season.

The squad was full. We either had to by HG or U21, we did both and still some moan.
Like, I've still not heard where this extra money is supposed to come from. There's literally nothing in the accounts to suggest the owners are short changing us.
We could have taken out a loan, a few clubs did (Arsenal and Spurs for example) buy I'm not go i'll mg to moan about them not sebring us up during these times.
This article is bollox simply due to FFP.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
UEFA have already said that FFP will be relaxed due to the impact of COVID. You can bet your life that City and Chelsea will spend big again this summer because their owners have the right ambition. We need similar owners in my eyes.

We need a Orince or a Russian oligarch?
Take them all day long. Lay into them as much as you want but City and Chelsea wouldn't have been scratching around for Championship defenders on deadline day. They woukd have hone out for Konate/Koulibaly etc if they had our injuries. FSG haven't got the financial clout to allow us to build a squad with quality throughout, not just in the first 11.
If you think it's reasonable to want our owners out because they are not like the City or Chelsea owners so that we can circumnavigate FFP somehow then there's not much I can say really.
Not that next summer is the issue, Kash wants them out based on their performance. There's absolutely nothing to suggest they're short changing us whatsoever. Nothing.

Going into the season our squad was just about complete and ready for another good crack at the title. Unfortunately it hasn't worked out due to an unprecedented amount of injuries, but we'll go again next season.

Probably the strongest it had been in my memory but there were still some gaps that needed filling: Top class RB to compete with Trent (Neco is beyond poor), another CB (Top teams need 4 really to compete on all fronts) and a Number 10 to unlock those defences. Need to add these bodies in the summer
Not quite sure how Kash or any of the other clowns think new owners are going to help you.
There are only three clubs in world football that have owners who can spend what ever they want. And they are not going to take over Liverpool.
Or is for that matter. If there were more potential multi billionaire owners out there they would have bought out FSG or the Glazers years ago.
You could have easily structured deals. We did that with Thiago and could have easily done it in Jan. Owners thought getting some kid who is a few months older than Rhys Williams could be coached by Henderson would do the job.

Look you can say I’m romanticising or whatever.
Fans make a big difference to a performance, and when you have characters that feed off the crowd, and have been used to them then there is a missing component.
When things are going well, it’s not so noticeable. But when the team is in a rut and needs a lift, with a manager that is also one that is buoyed by the crowd that is big miss.
Hopefully covid facks off and we can have a proper project restart.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point, but I find it naive to suggest Liverpool are the biggest losers in this. Believe this if you want, but your fans are no better than Spurs, United, West Ham etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have certain parts of our team that are really fed by the crowd.
Robertson for example, and let’s not forget Klopp, he’s all about having the passion of the crowd in and around him.
Put it this way, if it wasn’t for the crowd, that 4-0 comeback v Barcelona doesn’t happen. End of.

With the advent of FFP, it's much harder for billionaire owners to just come in and get immediate rewards too. Of course, if Newcastle got purchased by the Saudi Arabians, they would progress and eventually challenge. But it wouldn't be as easy as when Roman or ADU came in and had almost instant success. The days of the kid in a candy store approach are over, which makes such purchases less attractive to prospective owners

Taa needs decent completion, sonething to push him to sort his awful defending out,, need a reliable deputy to Robertson also, probably the best left back around, but looks overplayed and knackared. Injuries haven’t helped but you do require a decent CB cover quite badly, not sure the emergency signings are anywhere near the calibre required.,
Haha imagine klopp getting the sack before ole
