I was swaying between Cantlay and Schauffele for my pick
Went for Schauffele.....so Cantlay will no doubt fooking win it noo
Ideal that it's going to play fast, I think last year the first 2 days it was soft which made it alot easier.
First day usually someone always pulls away but is reigned back in, it was Casey leading by 4 shots last year after first day then he had a mare.
Will never forget few years ago I was on Charley Hoffman fiver e/w at 175/1 and he was leading after day 1 by 5 shots and I was offered a great cashout and got all gallus and naively never took it.....it of course went downhill. He still led by 2 after the Friday and was leading right up until I think it was the 12th hole on the Sat and then double bogeyed that hole and monumentally collapsed after that and didn't even make the top ten for e/w. That was a horrible weekend was spitting rage at the tv on the sunday hated the guy ever since!

Biggest single win I've had betting apart from the Irish Lottery
Rory was leading by 4 or something wasn't he going into that last day? Some going that. Biggest win I've had was a tenner on a Scott McDonald first scorer celtic to win 3-0 on some random game years ago, 28/1 it was.
Mind the year Spieth hit it into water 3 times on the 12th that was proper augusta pressure
Biggest win involving golf was funnily enough only a £1 stake.
Think it was 1999.
Royal ascot, horse called prince alex, won at 6-1
Double with my fav golfer payne stewart at 66 -1 to win us open.
Got £449 for my £1.
Was going to be a £2 double but wanted to keep my last pound for a bag of chips to scoff walking home 😀

No doubt this will be as close to the top as he gets but nice to see a solid start.
