That second goal was disappointing to concede Those kind of attacks tend to happen when we dont play Rodri. He is so good for us defensively.
I would play them both in our tough games just so that we can release our full backs and still remain defensively solid.
We've played 57 games so far this season and lost 4 of them scoring more than 100 goals in the process without our star striker.
Pull out all the stops for Haaland - He's exactly what we need.
Grafter, not greedy and knows how to finish.

Still think we are better with Cancelo on the right with more defensive cover.
I would start Rodri and Fernandinho, attack Dortmund down the flanks with Cancelo/Zinny or even Mendy.
KDB false 9, Bernardo on the right. Tough call to leave out Mahrez as he is a potential source of goals but on a night like this we kinda need Bernardo's hustle.
Sadly Bernardo will be on the bench and Mahrez will start.
I watched Dortmund last night and their defence was shocking.
We need to start on the front foot and get straight at them which is why I'd choose Mahrez in his present form.
I think Pep needs to be ruthless and pull anyone who's not pulling their weight at HT.

I'd imagine the main source of why you got hit on the counter was that your CBs were almost operating where I would expect a 10 to play. Stones was rightly lauded for his control on the game, but that falls apart when your that out of position that you get hit on the break that easily.
Personally didn't think your attacking players were that poor, but not sure you also created that much because of our low block. Not seen us play like that in a long time. Thought Zinchenko looked lively, though I was surprised to see him in CM, and a few others looked okay.
Just one of those games, though. 95 out of 100 of those I think you win comfortably.
