Andy Thom, contributed as much as the 3 Amigos but never got the credit.
His story is amazing as well, coming from East Germany to the West etc... it was a big thing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Had the pleasure of meeting him while mascot.
Really quiet guy who seemed quite shy.

I always though Papac was some pler btw, hated it that he was at Rangers, the Mark Wilson winner, loads forget the goal line clearance he made just before it, brave as fook. That said Wilson was decent as well for Celtic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye Papac was always one of those Rangers players I liked. Gave everything and seemed a sound dude.
That goal line clearance was a great example

Loved it when a full house sang his name
Not to do with the OP, but I admire this old dear.

For me when i was young I loved Gerry Creaney. I was young and he scored in the St Patrick's day massacre double header.
I loved Paul Elliot, Brian O'Neil, Peter Grant, Joe Miller
I probably never appreciated how good (or bad) some players were but I just decided that I liked them.
Anybody see the nick of Lennon?
Regarding David Robertson, I remember a 3-3 game where he scored and we didn't know if it had been chopped off or not. The TV coverage had the goal up for ages then it suddenly disappeared.
That was a game for the ages. A proper end to end game 3-3 could easily have been 6-6

The first player I took a shine too as a wee bairn was Simon Donnelly.
Still no idea if he was any good or not 😂
Im assuming the Lennon video is old

He's still got it. Class never leaves.
He is massively underrated. You don't continue to get a start in a team with the likes of Larsson, Di Canio, Pierre, Cadete etc if you aren't up there in quality
I have only just found out you can get Seabrook Worcester sauce crisps.
Almost as good as the tayto ones
