Luka Modric won the award for the Best Midfielder in La Liga in tonight's ceremony.
The Croatian midfielder edged Bruno Soriano (Villarreal) and Sergio Busquets (Barcelona) for the award, with Real's other star midfielder in Toni Kroos getting mysteriously snubbed after his good season last year.
Modric also made the 30-man list for the Ballon D'Or even though this award will most likely come down to Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Griezmann and Neymar.
Marco Asensio also won the award for La Liga's stand-out player after his good debut season in the competition with Espanyol, where he spent last year on loan from Real Madrid.
Jan Oblak was named the Best Goalkeeper, Diego Godin won the Best Defender Award with Diego Simeone earning the prize for Best Coach in a ceremony which suggested that Atletico somehow won the treble last season. Leo Messi won the Best Striker award ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

ok, well I was going to be starting Dembele anyway so makes no difference if he does or not
As in I'll be very surprised if you start Boufal and Dembele over Draxler and Lacazette in the next league game.
Boufal looked good from what I saw in the highlights last night.
Lacazette still my top striker, but Dembele looks a great young forward
