Birmingham v Portsmouth
Birmingham came out of the blocks quickly in this one with a very attacking set up and the high press did cause some trouble for the first 5-10 minutes. However once Portsmouth settled they started to control things, in build up the extra CB to forward meant that they could quickly bypass the initial press and Alexis and De Bruyne vs Matic and Fernandinho vs Vidal vs Alli meant that Portsmouth established possession in the midfield and began to push Birmingham back and get them to defend. Birmingham’s team was definitely set up more to attack and so they struggled going the other way. They were solid enough out wide but Alexis and De Bruyne found it easy to open space in the middle. Birmingham did provide a threat by countering into space behind the Portsmouth WBs but not enough to take anything from this game.
Birmingham 1-2 Portsmouth
Birmingham Scorers: Gomez(Perisic) 8
Portsmouth Scorers: Werner(De Bruyne) 39, Sanchez(De Bruyne) 53
MOTM: Kevin De Bruyne
Chelsea v Arsenal
A game where Arsenal showed a good improvement from their performances before the break however Chelsea are in need of points to get back to their position at the top and showed too much here. Arsenal succeeded in making things very congested and tough to break down, however Pogba and Neymar both stood out today and showed their ability to break down a stern defence. Going the other way Arsenal’s front three managed to find some space and Costa and James stretched the opposition, Belotti didn’t really have his shooting boots on today though and missed some good chances on the break.
Chelsea 1-0 Arsenal
Chelsea Scorers: Pogba(Neymar) 64
Arsenal Scorers: —
MOTM: Paul Pogba
Leicester v Everton
A very entertaining game between Leicester’s attacking possession based game and Everton’s fast paced counter. Leicester had many of the chances with their quality all of the pitch making it very difficult to stop them but Everton showed some good signs at the other end, Son and Sterling were able to give the FBs a good run for their money and created some chances, however Lacazette was well marshalled for the most part. At the other end Hazard looked to have the beating of Clyne and Costa was happy to beat the CBs as many times as possible, sometime taking away from his threat with the ball but he kept the CBs on their toes. Leicester’s midfield was the real winning factor in this game though, they were able to keep the ball for long spells and keep Everton chasing and constantly got the ball to the front three which meant they created plenty of chances to get the win.
Leicester 2-1 Everton
Leicester Scorers: Koke(Marcelo) 51, Guedes(Hazard) 78
Everton Scorers: Sterling(Son) 66
MOTM: Koke

Lazy sod that gets run over in the big games
Chelsea are selling Batshuayi to Dortmund, so Aubameyang can join Arsenal to replace Sanchez who's joining Man United. So Chelsea can buy Andy Carroll.
Anyone doing the Liverpool game please
See how Maddison gets on v Chelsea the night then
Carroll > Batshuayi and Auba won’t add anything to Arsenal, just another striker that won’t have any service!
Can’t do tactics tonight, internet at home is completely down
Ok get them in when you can but to say it’s completely down and your still posting? Lol
I have a phone with data but that isn’t much use for tactics fan! Might just have to reuse the weekend tactics and swap Carrasco and Icardi for Lemar and Morata tbh, I need a password to reset which only the landlord hasn’t
