All still to play for going into the second leg although Arsenal will consider themselves somewhat fortunate to still be in the tie. Barca are a dominant force and whilst I'm not a huge fan of Florenzi on the wing, I think it was a sensible approach to go with a defensive line up which did prevent Barca getting in to full flow. The midfield battle was surprisingly tight however the Barca attack v the Arsenal defence was somewhat of a mismatch with Manolas a big miss for the gunners. A Messi brace put Barca in control however some fine keeping from Pickford kept Arsenal in the tie. I thought the decision to bring off Cavani when chasing a goal was a strange one however for all their quality I feel the Barca fullbacks are vulnerable and it was the substitute Malcom who slotted home what could be an important away goal to keep his team in contention.

A tight game, Brums attack broke down a fair few times, Ndombele did well to nullify Bailey, which stopped the ball getting to Haller, not many chances created from either side due to resilient defending and good goal keeping
