Anyone fancy doing a wee report for the FA Cup
Some day, was meant to be away on holiday. On holiday here is just as good today
Yeah weather is nice, we meant to go away in four weeks to Turkey
Was meant to be in Mexico, weather doesn’t look good there so can’t complain too much
Am not bothered tbh, there’s always next year
Got bored at Everton on FM20 so created a new Middlesbrough only in November of first season but top of the Championship by 2 points and in the league cup quarter finals v Brentford so good chance of semis after taking out Newcastle United away in the last 16.
Had to work with the 80M Middlesbrough budget so basically I have a decent first 11 but outside of that it's basically what were boro's bench
Went Dutch on a big scale with van de Beek the big signing.
Stengs, Hoever, Boadu, Zirkzee, Wijndal, Koopmeiners, Gravenberch all in there asides from van de Beek + Ajer and Eze
Injuries truly feck me up mind and Stengs out for 4 months now + all my Dutch players keep needing rest as I'm having to play them constantly
Malen is the one to buy if you go Dutch
Hendrix as well for a decent, cheaper DM
Nothing more annoying on Fm than a big injury to your star player
Aritz Aduriz has announced his retirement. One of those players that peaked late.
Goals before 30: 54
Goals after 30: 159
Glad his last goal was that awesome bicycle kick vs Barca Although it did come at a price as it looks like he needs a prosthetic hip now.
Sad he’ll miss the Basque cops del Rey final when it happens

Seems to have turned his season around more recently in more attacking positions. Maybe Jet was right that he won’t end up at AM
