He’s just knocked back £50k a week to sit on Southampton’s bench, so he won’t be returning North.
There are plenty of affordable options better than our current numpties though … thousands of them.

Very pleasing I must admit.
Added to the Preston result and 1-1 with midjets.
There was a time under Brendan Rogers a few years back when Celtic would have given West ham a good game.
This Celtic team is a shadow of Brendan's.
Amazing the difference 3 years makes.
Look at Rangers compared with 3 years ago.
The interesting bit for me is seeing how Ange handles this rebuilding.
Moyes must be feeling pretty chuffed coming back to Celtic and his team gives a performance like that.

Whit?!! Ange has been able to sign 3 senior players to date … only 1 of whom (Abada) is out of quarantine and available to play, and has looked excellent. Plenty to criticise us about re the shambles he’s inherited, but way too early to be blaming Ange for any of that.
Should be clear to everyone now why we wanted Lennon gone as far back as last August. This is his and Lawells doing and the amount of time taking to get a manager in place has led to the state of this poorly built squad. Still think Christie and eddy off before end of window too ffs. Quite liked us going forward in first 45 tho just hard when ralston and Taylor are required in attacking areas as they’re not good. Barkas is so bad too

Gallacher on a free would have been an excellent signing
Ralston, Bain, Taylor and Barkas can all GTF asap, they are never Celtic class, more suited to Killie or Motherwell.
As for Ange, he'll get a season and two transfer windows, if he doesn't win the league he'll be offski.

We drew with arsenal last week. You would hope we could get a decent result against Brighton.
The worrying thing about Celtic is the lack of quality and depth in the squad.
But I am not on to gloat.
It will be very interesting to see how Ange tries to turn that around into a championship winning squad.
