The deal is 30% of any profit. So if he goes for £20 million then PSG get 30% of £11 million.

This suggests differently...

That site is using the Daily Record as its source. So make of that what you will.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As you see - the Daily Record were not the only source as witnessed by this statement:

"Reports over the last 12 months have suggested Celtic would need to give 40% or 50% of any deal to the French giants after they signed Edouard for over £9m in 2018."

"However, according to the Daily Record, Parkhead chiefs need to give PSG 50% of any profit they make on the striker."

Another media outlet:

"GIVEMESPORT can reveal that Paris Saint-Germain inserted a substantial sell-on clause into his deal when moving to Celtic of around 50%. With that in mind, the Hoops are looking for around £20m if they were to sell. "

Having been brought in for a club-record £9m in the summer of 2018 after a successful one-year loan, the Scottish giants are seeking to make some sort of profit on the player, though will have to pay around half of it back to the French champions after a clause was inserted into the initial deal.

I know fans want the lower/higher sell-on % to be true when it suits the narrative/purpose.

Just a wee bit 'scarfy'.

You can't expect just to say "The deal is 30% of any profit" and not be challenged on it.
