I cant remember a window like this, maybe when we got Hargreaves, nani and Anderson.
Let's hope they're equally as successful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I also hope they win the CL and multiple league titles.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
boris tends to forget the CL, no experience with actually achieving it, even after all the billions spent trying to achieve it.
also boris, while youre here, are you concerned about how you will be able to fudge your funding with the airline industry in chaos due to the pandemic.
might raise a few eyebrows if Etihad suddenly increase their spending on you. I heard they were thinking of sponsoring your training water bottles for 160m....

Didn't think this one through did you Boris? 😂
Tbf that 2007 summer transfer window gets massively overrated. It was worth it due to their contributions to winning the prem and cl double, but they weren’t grate signings overall.

£34m rising to £42 with possible add ons.
Can’t grumble at that. Probably couldn’t even get Coady/Mings for that if we’d shopped in the PL.

Arsenal paid £50 million approx for Ben White.

Yeah he did. Then he starting eating 10 packs of crisps a day. 😂😂😂
he has a point about Hargreaves though, he was great that first season but then injuries destroyed his career.
I cant for the life of me remember which nouveau riche club watched him struggle to get fit for years and then went and signed him?

For what it’s worth I think White will have a good career and is going to be a really decent CB, so with his age and English passport I guess the fee is what it is.

No more excuses, Ole has to deliver or he's gone.
It’s a class bit of business by Brighton. They picked him up after he was released from Southampton’s academy, three years later sent him to league two, then league one and then the championship. Has one season in the prem in their first team, and then sold for £50m even though he was their third best cb. Leicester would be proud of that one.

yes, anyone would think he was brought in to do a rebuild or something
Still need a midfielder and ideally a back up RB to give Bisakka a kick up the backside. Think the club will be focusing on getting rid of the deadwood now to raise funds.

Not defending him because he has to deliver but lets put that spend into context of what he came in to, whst he's shifted and the type of players he's bought and then compare that to pep for example spending the same amount on two new keepers and a brand new backline.
Context!
Chelsea and City will probably overtake that spending this summer.
The most surprising thing there is Spurs spending more than Arsenal.

A fair take. I would go as far as say our recruitment since he has been here has been world class. But he now has the players, I am not talking premier league here, another cup final lost and this man may have to depart
