Grealish but both will prob be good signings

Grealish ….I think he will be unplayable at times

I’m a bit shocked Chelsea have re-signed lukaku

They deemed him not good enough before

United fans in the main were happy he was sold

He had a good spell in Italy that’s all so all of a sudden he is good enough for top 4 prem team again? Don’t see it

Not sure this one will pan out too well for him

He’s game intelligence is still awful going on the euros and his first touch isn’t the best either

I think grealish is no doubt a better player but chelsea have got in someone in a position they need. Man City have not

This season Lukaku but in time I can see Pep bringing Grealish to another level to what he is atm.

Lukaku is a more reliable goal scorer than anyone the current European champions have on their books... I'm not a great fan of his but he scores goals at the end of the day.

Grealish is undeniably a better player but I wonder is Lukaku might have more of an impact on Chelsea than Grealish on City for the simple fact that Lukaku probably addressing a issue Chelsea have had more than Grealish addresses any of City's issues (replacing Aguero!).

This season Lukaku, but Grealish afterwards.

Lukaku at this level of football (Italian league is not the Prem) will struggle.

Lukaku will score goals - I reckon 25-30 in all comps - but I think it will come at the expense of Chelsea's overall play.

Can't really call Grealish.

I will go with big Rom here. He will score bags against the fodder teams.

I just have this feeling City don’t need Grealish and he might suffer from expectation.

Lukaku has never really struggled. He has scored goals at every club he has ever been at and loads at international level and in big comps.
He has limitations sure, but Chelsea need a goalscorer and he scores goals.

You forget his glory days where at Everton and West Brom?? At Chelsea and United, he was always found wanting, Actually detrimental to intricate play which a dominant Chelsea require against smaller teams. Unless they are going to become a counter attacking team, Chelsea should find out soon enough why they could'nt use him then.

Lukaku is a great addition for Chelsea.

Grealish seems a luxury indulgence for City. Will he really contribute more than Bernardo Silva, Mahrez or Sterling?

Lukaku is surely going to play more games than Grealish.

Not sure there's any value in judging his stint at Chelsea. He was a young player coming into a new league at an established big club with players ahead of him in the pecking order.

At United he still scored goals. He may have scored more had he not being clearly too heavy and playing under a manager(s) who could get the attack looking more cohesive than we ever did under Mourinho (or before Ole had time to start building his own team).

Will be interesting to see what his fitness is like at Chelsea. He seems to have suggested that the Italian lifestyle and diet made a huge difference, will he keep that going back in England or do Chelsea demand a diet closer to United? I’m no nothing about sports science and nutrition but maybe the physical demands of the PL require a different diet but then it didn’t seem to be a problem at Everton or WBA.

Intrigued to see if Grealish has a notable impact at City,

Lukaku will do what he’s always done. 20+ goals against the poorer sides. Anonymous in the big games. Won’t make them better or worse, just different.

As with football at these levels, scoring without being part of build up non existent. that is football from a different era and can affect the players form if he gets into a rough patch. He was scoring for us and we all wanted him gone. We are way past using a goal tally to justify the benefits of a player.

Lukaku will probably have more of an impact because he will return as the main man.

I do think his time in the average Italian league has pulled the wool over the eyes of some though.

Grealish is clearly the better footballer but for £100 million he seems a little unnecessary at City.

Like the striker version of pogba impact wise, sometimes very effective, sometimes invisible. That said I’d not convinced that grealish will start nearly as much as expected so I’d probably say lukaku.

Grealish.

i think lukaku has found his perfect place at chelsea,
much better fit than kane at city. grelish is good but lukaku will have a much bigger impact. might even win them the league.

I know Pep likes to rotate but surely after spending that money Grealish will play most weeks.

For 100 million though is he really much better than Sterling or Foden if at all?
