Bit of a target reference this one.

If nothing else, the level of amusement they bring is always decent.

They are a pain in the bum, even without the hangers on from both sides. Been stuck on a bus behind 1 for 2 hours was not a happy man.

They mostly all look stupid.

I will give many of them props for their march discipline and formation and the musician ship at some points is excellent.

Do they need to happen? On the scale they do? Is the cause still relevant today? Probably not in my opinion.

Should they be allowed to? Absoloutely.

Yes they should be allowed so why not allocate a park (closed to the public for a day) and let them March and shout to each other. Beats the inconvenience and offences on the streets and surely saves the public purse?

Because that's not what they are about.
For the same reason that they swap their sashes for Rangers taps to march on George Square and occupy the City centre or to dress in black shirts to march from there to Ibrox for a Celtic game.

Id prefer it personally but its not really right is it.

Ive been on Indy and anti war marches that cause similar disruption and zach mentioned the climate ones you could argue they cause more disruption, deliberately

Are we saying they should all be confined to parks too? Kind of defeats the point. Don't think we can pick or choose.

My point is that the Orange walks have a long history of creating unlawful behaviour and the authorities know this. Why allow these marches to take place on public streets when they know that unlawful stuff will occur? Seems pretty daft to me.

I think marches should be made public or private depending on whether the marchers are vvanks. Which I know is a subjective decision so I propose I make it.

The police and councils job. The council are beyond incompetent and corrupt though.

The OO themselves could certainly do stronger messaging though. I get the feeling they don't want to though.
