Was never the greatest player and his time was well up at Celtic but no denying he was a great leader for us and will rightly go down as a club legend.

Wouldn't want him back at Celtic any time soon though and I'm sure Ange wouldn't want it either.

Cheers for the 4 points he took off rangers this season though with his goal/antics

Pretty much my thoughts on Broony as well TBH. Would wish the guy nothing but the best for his future though, whatever that might be.

He's got a few million.

Doesn't have to work.

If his Kebab Days are over no reason he can't be useful somewhere.

Never liked him much, didn't think his behaviour was befitting of a Celtic captain. I think that only got worse as he got older, where he seemed more focused on getting it up the opposition than actually playing.

Clearly a big influence in the dressing room though and you can't argue with his medal haul, and he was at his best a good player. He was just a difficult player to respect.

I see Andy Halliday has said Souttar has done his Achilles again.

Agree with most of that Broony was never a favourite of mine as a player and despite his obvious leadership qualities I felt some of his behaviors were not what one would expect of a celtic captain .As far as broony eing a coach or manager I think his personal could see him ending up similar to Lenny ?

Jambos medical staff are content it is not the same issue that has already hampered the 25-year-old’s career on three previous occasions.

Carefully worded?

Halliday "He was f****** as well, he actually wasn't feeling that well before the game. Big soapy's (Souttar) achilles...

Uncarefully worded?

Hope he is alright but who on here warned that this might happen?

I'm sure Rangers will do the decent thing and honour the pre-contract agreement?
