£10 from each ticket going to Ukraine. Decent gesture but doubt i will bother going to it. Fair bit of travel for a nothing game.
Scotland v Ukraine will get cancelled anyway, someone from their FA was saying they only have a hope of playing it.

I'll wait and see it again as I've only seen a still picture which can be misleading, but at the time it looked like it was a lunge, therefore out of control, it looked like it was studs up, therefore endangering an opponent, and it looked like it used excessive force. That makes it a clear red card by the laws of the game.

Weirdly, Callum Butcher did a far worse challenge earlier in the season against Celtic and was only given a yellow at the time.
Anyway-doesn’t need to be 2 footed to be a lunge for me. Lunge would imply force to my mind, it looked more just like a normal slide challenge. He was that out of control that he bent his leg, and there was no excessive force that you talked about before.
It could have been a red on a different day with a different ref, but it’s not a red card for me. Poor challenge and unnecessary-but a yellow was right.
If Beaton didn’t think it was a red, that says a lot. He chopped off a goal that clearly should have stood, didn’t give a penalty to us for a handball, didn’t book the player that took out Rogic with a dreadful tackle in the build up to our 3rd goal, and also should have given another penalty for the pull back on Rogic that continues into the box-he pulled it back to where the foul originally started.

I'll wait and see it again as I've only seen a still picture which can be misleading, but at the time it looked like it was a lunge, therefore out of control, it looked like it was studs up, therefore endangering an opponent, and it looked like it used excessive force. That makes it a clear red card by the laws of the game.

The boy went in with the studs up while sliding on the ground and had no control over his tackle. He was nowhere near the ball.
If that was Callum Butcher making that tackle he'd have been shown a red.

Dundee United`s fault mate. Even on Astroturf, he`d have slowed down by that point. Not last night, no chance, sliding down that slope in the rain like a water slide.

Weirdly, Callum Butcher did a far worse challenge earlier in the season against Celtic and was only given a yellow at the time.
Anyway-doesn’t need to be 2 footed to be a lunge for me. Lunge would imply force to my mind, it looked more just like a normal slide challenge. He was that out of control that he bent his leg, and there was no excessive force that you talked about before.
It could have been a red on a different day with a different ref, but it’s not a red card for me. Poor challenge and unnecessary-but a yellow was right.
If Beaton didn’t think it was a red, that says a lot. He chopped off a goal that clearly should have stood, didn’t give a penalty to us for a handball, didn’t book the player that took out Rogic with a dreadful tackle in the build up to our 3rd goal, and also should have given another penalty for the pull back on Rogic that continues into the box-he pulled it back to where the foul originally started.
