Any Scottish team in Europe should cherish that fact.

Vast majority of Euro clubs including rich ones will never see that.

Never.

I disagree with 'enthusiasm will soon be beaten out of you lot and us'.

Need to keep pushing on in Europe though

…and have said it before and will again, the rest of the clubs in this league need to start pulling their weight in Europe too when they get there

All too often they are humped out in the earliest of rounds…not good enough, they are way better than what they are showing, and if the old firm only get plaudits when they punch above their weight, it’s about time the rest get slaughtered for not even competing at their own level

Killie get pumped out by a welsh mob for example, I mean ffs!!

Neither of us should have expectations.

Relax and enjoy what a lot of uber minted clubs in Europe never get.
---------------------------------------------------

I'd expect us to compete.....and I'd expect Celtic to do better than they did this season

Need to keep the coeff up......not all about getting theoney and buying disco lights with it

Celtic don't need to do better.
We got 9 points in our group. I will take that any year.
Rangers, on the other hand will need to do better in the groups. Can't rely on sneaking through with 8 points every year.

Most years 9 would do it.

Celtic haven’t won a knockout tie in Europe since 2004.

And most years 86 points wins the league. So Rangers don’t need to improve.

Anyone can twist things.

So we DID get to Champions' League Groups?

And also qualify from them?

Yay!

Good chance you 'lot' as HB would say will win next week.

Some of ye posting grumpy like you've already lost.

You should hook up with the braggarts.

The league in Scotland is officially a 2 horse race now.
Less than 90 points will not win our league for a long time unless the old firm games all end in draws.

Good point Magnum.

The whole thing's a bit loopy now.

At KO last night 4 of the Relegation 6 SPFL Group had more points than

Gers opponents Rossco.

Mental.

Why do we need to do better? The whole objective is to qualify from your group. It’s not to finish on a number of points that you ‘like’ 😂😂

In case you haven’t noticed Rangers have been pretty decent at qualifying from their group.

The groups aren’t all the same. Comparing points totals across groups is comparing applepines with oranges….

OK.
Now go and tell renegade who thinks that 86 points will win you the league most seasons.

<Why do we need to do better? >

Cos getting thru on 8 points is highly unusual.

Many teams including mine didn't with more.

Daily record running a story tonight that Postecoglu will be getting offered a longer term deal from Celtic.

Hopefully this sickens your 9 points some more but we were through with 7 points and a game to spare.

Looks like Rogic might be leaving as well. One of my favourite players-defo of more recent times but possibly overall as well.

On his day, he was just a sheer joy to watch. He’s scored some class goals over the years, and some really vital ones as well.

I’ll be genuinely disappointed if he leaves this summer.

Am hoping it's just people reading to much into his insta post and he isn't leaving but yeah it appears that he might be. Mad to think we would have be OK if he left that time under Lennon.

He’s a different player when managed properly. You can see that under Postecoglu and Rodgers, and even under Deila to a degree. Lennon nearly ruined him-under both the times he was managers.

He’s just a player I love to watch.

Agreed 100%

And I think that losing him and Bitton from the squad at the same time is a big mistake if that's how it transpires.

I'd like to see another year for Bitton and two for Tam.

posted on 13/5/22

Yeah-Bitton fills out the squad a bit, even if he is rash at times. Rogic domestically can just make such a difference.

posted on 13/5/22

Both away, officially.

posted on 13/5/22

That`s disappointing, especially Rogic. Seemed to be thriving with Postecoglou as manager. He obviously still has his off-days, but didn`t seem to need as long to get back up to speed this season.
