Chatting to a mate of mine who is a big Partick boy last weekend and believe you me he has no love for Rangers. Despite this he was very pleased that a Scottish side were in the final and respected what an achievement it was when you compare their budget and squad value with many of the teams they have knocked out.

Is this attitude completely beyond Celtic fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Perhaps you might explain how you’d be were it Arsenal.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I would want Arsenal to lose but its far more of a rarity and a much bigger deal for a Scottish team to make the final.

I'm not knocking Celtic fans just curious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Eh, it’s the THIRD time a Scottish club has made a European final in 19 years, mate. Maybe I’ve forgotten all those that Spurs & Arsenal have contested in that same period?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal have been in 3 since 2000
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know … 2 in the timeframe since the ‘Tic were in Seville. Spurs 1 CL final … any others in that timeframe? My point was they’re not exactly Euro final regulars.

i seen images of kids crying last night and on one hand i think aye, what a trip for them, and on the other i think, bit young, setting them up for trauma.

not the result, i just meant having to look at fat ugly bastirts in the crowd with their drooping sagpit t1ts.

If my group chat was anything to go by last night, there weren't any Dundee United supporters cheering Rangers on either.

Also just before the shootout I said Ramsey would miss. Inevitable that he would and shouldn't have been anywhere near a penalty.

Never mind, he was a Marquee signing who would make a huge difference to Rangers. Almost as bad as Duffy signing for Celtic.

odd move to bring on a player just to take a penalty, i know its common but give them a warm up.

that sands got on before him is a riddy

Players that get brought on just to take a penalty nearly always miss. Madness that it still happens.

Well aye. We win things (or don’t) on our own merit. We don’t have to coat-tail glory by proxy like your wee diddy-supporting pal there.

How many Euro finals have Arsenal and Spurs been to in the past 20 years?

I'll give you a hint, it's fewer than how many Scottish clubs have been to
