So yeah looks like comfortably third since he joined us. If he’s backed this summer there’s no reason we can’t really push for something significant next season at the very top.
Really impressive record. The goals for and against is stand out. Well over 2 goals per game scored and under 1 conceded.
Extrapolate that out and and the goal difference is pushing +50 over a season. I think peak Poch we were +60.
And the thing with Conte is he'll want to be challenging for the title next season. Hopefully Levy and Paratici give him what he needs. Unfortunately Liverpool and City are so strong it's unlikely we can win it, but should be looking to consolidate third. 80 points is a good target.

When you look at United's gutless performances this seasons, some of the shambolic defending, lack of commitment, lack of organisation and massive egos, to me its seems like Conte would have been teh perfect remedy, to come in and shake them all up like he did at Spurs. With some of the quality in their squad they could have made huge steps forward in the league, identified who needs to leave, perhaps turned around the form of some players and formulated a plan going forward. Instead all their problems have been allowed to fester under a clueless caretaker and they now start from scratch with a new man who lacks the gravitas to really impose himself on all levels of the clubs.
I can see Hag failing not because he is a bad manager but he's the wrong man at the wrong time and will likely find himself out of his depth with both the clubs hierarchy and the expectations of the fans.
