Feeling good?

You could say it is a "new dawn" I guess.

You could also post a comment on the article about the same subject rather than reword it into another article, but that wouldn't be very Leeds.

The issue here surely is they don't have a lot of time to bed in, they need to hit the ground running especially with the easyish start.

Feeling good? Yes. Optimistic. But realistic also.

I think that's exactly why we're buying players who for
the most part are familiar with or have played directly
in Marsch's system. Meaning several of these players
on the pitch, can help the squad learn and transition
from MB's system to JM's.

Whether it'll be a success in the season, we shall see.

Can look 2 ways at present until we see them on the pitch.

Positive
More depth
More flexible

Negative
Signed 2 players from a weak Austrian league
Signed a German who couldn’t get in side and looks like another coming who also can’t get a game at his club
Signed an injury prone 18-year old kid.

As always
Support the players so long as they give their all
Ignore youtube clips
Will watch with my own eyes as the season goes on

That's the reality of where we are. I hope for the best,
naturally. And I'm looking forward to other signings and
seeing what we might do. But, nothing is for sure.

Well, what I’m expecting is to not get carried away if we make a good start.

Marsch’ approach will be a fresh one to Bielsa’s, and it will take a while for opposition managers to work out how to best counter it.

We saw this with Bielsa. For me, it will be after Christmas before we can make an appraisal of how effective or otherwise our new look team under Marsch really is, including how effective we are at picking up
points.

Truly, this year, I don’t want the be relying on collecting 11 extra points or so from injury time goals. It’s not good for the either the nerves, or the heart!

That’s what gets me thinking; sure, we could have a good season again this time around and then struggle when the Marsch system gets found out.

What I’m most looking forward to is seeing what a Leeds United Plan B looks like for the first time in 5 seasons!

We have a 25m signing who is a rw who mainly was played out of position up front last season

I suspect James will play on the right if Raph leaves. It's a big outlay. He's young, experienced, pace to burn, works hard.

There is promise there, however a lot left to prove.

We have a condensed season with World Cup in the middle of it.

These new players need to hit the ground running, no waiting till after Christmas, Marsch could well be out of a job by then, he's 3rd favourite to be first sacked as it stands today.

Good players have no real problem showing their class wherever they are, everyone else takes a while.

We've lost one of our best players, the other's future is in the balance, new players have some big boots to fill.

Not sure I understand “got to hit the road running” comments.

Signings have all been made before or during first week of preseason training. First time we have done this in years!
