nah, all good fella, new regime, get with the plan

I don't think it's all good. We can't just get rid of established pl players.
Last thing we need is a small squad if we get injuries. If we get rid of our 3 best players we are asking for trouble.

Moving my comment in from your other thread:

£35m should be a starting bid in my opinion. 16 Premier League goals in 2 seasons, 8 of those since the New Year…I think his contribution to us staying up has flown under the radar, it was right up there with Raph. I see him scoring 10-12 next season…I would rather keep a proven player than accept £40m.

Which established pl players are you going on about,is playing 2 seasons in the PL now considered being a Pl established player?

£35m is definitely not enough given that we'd have to pay almost £5m of that to City (apparently) due to a sell-on clause. Keep him imo.

It is for us!

All 6 of our signings (5 nailed on starters) have yet to kick a ball in the prem, minus Raph and Phillips, we're a bit light of them.

I'd say very few if any of your players had premiership experience when you got promoted. The thing is you 9fyen pay a premium for players with premier League experience and often they are average players.

When we were promoted we knew what we had, these new boys are unproven…they have big shoes to fill in Raph, Phillips and Harrison…time will tell!

One game was enough to establish Raphinha as a Prem League player.

In the case of Jack, maybe he wants out, but I’d find that hard to believe.
---------
With the Saudi cash pile at their disposal maybe Newcastle will offer to double Harrisons wages, in which case he will probably want in.

Any player that has never played in the premier League has no premier league experience!..

I'm trying to work out how do people know who can make it and who cant, because untill anybody is given the chance in the Premier league than they're all inexperienced at premier league level!..

And that don't matter how good they might be in other leagues, the same as a top premier league player could be a flop in France, Germany or even China!..

We have some players come in and are being given the chance most want, so hopefully they take that chance and we improve enough to make them want to stay or bring in better!..

I hate this the premier league is to good for others thing, there are players out there that can make it but will never find out unless they're given a chance!..

As for Jack, I want him to stay but like been said, we couldn't match Newcastle when it comes to money and wages!..

I don’t disagree Germany, I think the risk is selling your 3 best players (if Harrison goes) and bringing in 5 unproven players in this league. Let’s be honest, for every Raph we’ve brought in…how many Firpo’s have we signed!
What is happening with Costa and Kiko? Are they back?

Steross, that problem would be the same for any team, but unlike Newcastle and City and a number off top clubs worldwide, we ain't in a position to keep players or bring those that people here demand day in day out!..

As for Costa and Kiko, don't here to much about them these days but the sooner Kiko is off our wages the better!..

Based on what's going on at the club, we will finish bottom of the league. The owners again are completely failing the club and letting our best players go.

Really really disappointed with all of this.

Wouldn't mind selling Harrison if we went and replaced him with someone like Trossard, March, Sarr, Trincao, Fraser. Someone who has been playing at this level already and someone good at it.

Supposed to be a big club in England, in our 3rd season back in the premier league yet we can't seem to pluck players from rival sides like Brighton and Southampton.

What part of Switzerland will Harrison replacement come from do we think .....

they broke the british transfer record day they took over, (last day of transfer window) then spent £50m in jan, then another £120 in the summer.

this was 12 years ago, they chuck huge amount of money at it

But to be fair… you know Jack-shit, don’t you? “We will finish bottom of the league” might be right or might be wrong. Some supporters are perhaps a little more positive. You, I accept, are not. Fine. Enjoy the negativity? Your choice. Me? Rather be hopeful and be proved wrong than negative and proved right.

He's a decent player. I would rather keep him

I'm not sure anyone would pay 35m for him. I would take it if they offered as it's a cracking amount of money on the provision the money was spent on the squad and ideally on some PL experience which seems to be lacking from our signings so far

I am all for young signings but so many times last season we were crying out for some some calm experienced leaders. We've lost Phillips. Feels like it's still only Cooper

I knew they spent big on robinho but I didn't think they spent that much. They did buy a lot of players.
