English teams should be able to put their youth teams into the Scottish cups.

Other than affording the opportunity to watch Rangers and Celtic getting spanked by Championship sides, which would indeed be amusing, I don’t really see what the point of this would be.

Big No
It does not benefit any English teams in any way
The Scots hate the English anyway, so let them keep hating from a distance

What about Englands WSL teams playing in the Scottish cups?

I actually like the idea… something different.
Give the League Cup to the Championship teams only. And Replace it with this Tournament.

Could be good for Scottish football, bringing more money in for their clubs. England vs Scotland rivalry adds more to the ties where its a Scottish club vs an English club.

The financial advantage of PL clubs over SPL clubs will always stop this happening.

We used to do that but Scottish teams kept threatening to win your FA Cup and you didn't like it.

"The Scottish team had a goal disallowed during play, and the referee later said that they had scored once more but as the players did not attempt to claim it, he had not bothered to award it. The two teams met once more in the final of the following FA Cup final in 1885."

Match rules
90 minutes.
30 minutes extra-time if scores are level, at captains' discretion.
Replay if scores still level.
No substitutes.

Our 5th best team got beat by Sligo Rovers.

Imagine what Harrogate would do to them.

All the english clubs would need new goalposts after each match ............

Can't see it happening. Scots clubs, especially the big 2, would be seen as too big a threat, especially if it was wider than just cup comps.

Don't care about Scotland, but the Super Cup should be expanded to include the euro conference league winners

Yes

Imo, the league cup is crap and should be a lot better. Always hoped the Scotish and maybe even some French sides feature in a intercontinental cup.

You mean like the Anglo/Scottish Cup that was disbanded due to lack of interest?

Don’t really see the point in them joining. . Don’t think that would happen Rosso, rangers got to the europa final and beat West Ham recently, and Celtic just beat Norwich. For me I’d say no, keep the competitions in the countries they are meant to, and wouldn’t it mean that some lower league clubs lose out on revenue? I wouldn’t be against the old firm in the pl though that would be interesting given they have large fan bases.

At the very least a showpiece SPL Vs PL champions game should take place at the start of each year either before or after the charity shield
