Who is getting relegated?

Chelsea are not in any discussions for the title that I have seen. No team will get close to City and the dips this season, imo.

No idea who will challenge for that yet. Once the window shuts we will have a better idea.

I'm more interested in seeing someone different coming up from the Championship, the likes of Coventry, etc.

I think we have a fair idea - it will be between Spurs, Chelsea, United and Arsenal for the 2 spaces City and Liverpool leave.

Has Gallagher rejoined Palace on loan from Chelsea? Just our luck if he does it after the Arsenal game.

Don't think there has been any talk about him leaving Chelsea?

Southampton will be fine signed 3 very promising young players and Joe Aribo who was the best player in the Europa last season.

Palace similar, they have more than enough and are building a decent young team. Both sides with good managers imo.

I would worry for Brentford having second season syndrome.

Everton don't have much going forward on paper, the wolves are circling the Foxes who could be in dire straits if they lose Schmeichel, Fofana, Tielemans and Madison to balance the books.

Leeds have taken a huge gamble and it will go very right or very wrong.

Wolves deserve a mention as well, look weaker than they did last season and very weak outside the first 11.

Leeds, Brentford, Wolves, Leicester (if they sell their top players), Everton

In that order as established sides i would worry about.

Think Wolves will be fine. Kept their experienced backbone and the younger players like Neto, Podence, Ait Nouri, Gibbs White, should be better now. Getting Raul Jiminez fit and firing will be key.

This tells me that there are a lot of pretty poor teams in the Premier League this year and it shows the increasing gap between the haves and the have nots. It's not great for the competitiveness of the league as, with so many poor teams in it once again, then we can expect the league winners to amass over 90 points.

Hope Everton stay up for sentimental reasons but I fear they'll be heading down to the parachute payment league.

I think we'll bring in at least 1 more key player, will need the team to gel quickly as quite a lot of changes.

Lat season Cooper, Phillips and Bamford out all season is what nearly cost us. Hopefully Bamford stays fit this time as his presence even without goals is massive for us, his running, closing down and general pressing for the full 90 we really missed massively.

Roca/Adams will cover the Phillips loss, as important he was for us, the role he had under Bielsa was just perfect for him, I doubt anyone else will get that much for him, our current system didn't do him any favours the little he did play.

At the other end Cooper is vital, when he came back into the side we looked far better at the back and results improved.

so many new players at Leeds, will be easier to judge after 5 games or thereabouts.
personally i think we bought well and will finish anywhere between 13th to 15th.
Bournemouth, Fulham and Everton for me.

Wolves will be fine unless they get a few injuries.

Just no depth to their squad and don't seem very active in bringing players in so far.

3 full backs, 3 decent CMs, 3 wide players. Seems risky.

you can expect the league winner to amass over 90 points because they're 2 of the best teams in the world.

And, tbf, City got 1 point from Palace and 2 from Southampton last season

DJ,s

As it stands now I don’t think United have quite enough for the top four. We would have to go through the season without any one picking up long term injuries.

What I do see from us is better quality football.

What about when Barca/Real, Bayern, Juve, PSG etc. get 90 odd points or equivalent whilst also being the some of the best teams in Europe? You 100% call those leagues crap with crap teams when they do that.

Man City and Liverpool BOTH get more points than even the most dominant teams in other leagues. They are around the same standard as Bayern, Madrid, PSG as well. It points towards the rest of the teams in the PL being CRAP.

Unfortunately, Wolves are definitely going to be in the mix this year.

Ended the season in relegation form and would have been in the bottom three over the last 10 matches. Done nothing to address the areas of weakness in the squad, there is also talk of changing to play four at the back which has proved a disaster in the past.

Misery.

Leicester managed eight despite an injury hit season, i expect us to challenge for top 4 again like we did two seasons in a row before last if we can stay injury free. And mind you Youri Tielemans is the player Leicester City are willing to sell, he has been out of the first eleven anyway since last season. Schmeichel can be replaceable
