I wouldn’t start either Kent or Morelos tonight
Morelos has only played about 30mins of football since March, and we’ve got more out of Wright and Matondo in pre-season / recent matches than we have Kent…so I’d have them both in the bench to use as impact players
We need to come out and be a different side tonight, hearing that this side only know how to play one way, so they are a bit like we were under Gerrard, very one dimensional.
Gio has had the first leg to suss them out, and we escaped with a 2-0 defeat let’s be honest….but throughout our European run last season, we were strong 2nd leg, particularly when we were at home…other than Dortmund, was as if Gio needed the first leg to understand how a team plays, in order to setup correctly in the return fixture at home
So I’m quietly confident, if they score though, massive uphill task. An early goal would help us no end, feel need to be much more direct than last week, and surely we can’t be any worse than that $hitshow of a performance over there

How’s the birthday build up ginger ? We share the same date if memory serves - wanted to kick the erse out of hols this year to celebrate 60th but first booking (Moscow and st Petersburg went tats up in AprilHad some nice ones and replacement hol for Moscow is to be October now but won’t find out where till bday meal. After a big health scare last year I’m just glad im involved in my bday
