Well done Tuchel, clap for yourself. Do better

Always rated Werner before his ill-fated move to Chelsea

No problem. Chelsea is just a soulless team where many players have come and were buried alive with their hopes, but some have freed themselves and thrived. Take Salah for example.

Chelsea will just spend another £80m+ for the next toy player

Gonna be Aubameyang isn't it. He's already over the hill.

I do think it’s weird you haven’t landed a striker yet, you are definitely light there - and no Sterling is not a faaacking striker

Ill fated, with a champions League, world club cup champions League football and a few finals all with the turmoil we have been through the last couple of years?

Where does the delusion come from that exudes from so many (not all) spurs fans?

Yes we're are light a striker for sure and have been since Didier where Spurs seemed to have been pretty blessed with them yet won less than Leicester. Do Spurs fans not realise there are no single right or wrong ways to win a game?

Yes, I thought letting Tammy go was a mistake. In my opinion we put our eggs in Timo's basket there but that never worked out either. Maybe it might have worked out differently if he stayed but the Lukaku experience also shows it might not.

Ill fated might be an odd choice of words but this can't possibly be how you thought (/hoped) Werner would work out at the club.

A club can achieve a huge amount but still carry an 'ill fated' or, probably more accurately, unsuccessful transfer.

To take my user name for example; Keita has won all 3 domestic trophies plus the CL and World Club Cup. Would I consider it a successful move? Not really.

It's absolutely not how I expected it to work out but from his perspective it's not been I'll fated, he has had the support of the majority of our fans, certainly at games, he has always put in the effort and he has been backed, to a degree by the manager. I think he has been unlucky and I think we have has too many weaknesses in our midfield and supporting roles that haven't helped him either.

Werner's gone on record saying he felt he didn't deserve the overwhelming support he got from this "soulless" club.

Spurs fans need to accept the reality they aren't rebels going up against some evil soulless empire here, they're just a bit sh!t

Here's a thought.....bother to do some actual research before opening your gob ( just for once in your life )

Spurs total trophies ( not silly Charity Shield, Super Cup etc ) = 17
Leicester = 5

Yeah, surprising as it may seem to a 5 year old like you, football was not invented in 1992 when the PL came along.

I apologise I didn't realise Kane had won so much with spurs. Yes it was a subtle dig, far too subtle for a knucklehead like you, after all we've only been struggling since Didier and that won't last 🤣🤣🤣

On Werner, his pace and unpredictable play certainly unsettled defences which probably benefited other Chelsea attackers at times, but the guy had so many goal scoring chances in each game he played, and easy ones at that. He is the worst finisher I have seen at Chelsea for a very long time and just not good enough.

Tammy, was a decent back up striker but nothing more than that. Maybe now he has moved up a level, but the Lukaku success in Serie A followed by his move back to Chelsea is something to be wary of.

Totally.
One of the worst error of judgements in recent times.

The double standards, ease at which Tuchel was happy to throw a capable Tammy under the bus + use him as the fall guy was astonishing, disconcerting and a distasteful heinous act, never sat well with me...

Whilst a certain 50m investment got ample opportunities, support, mollycoddled and patience, despite performing far worse (struggling to execute the basics) and being the least compatible attacker was rotten. Disparity stinks.
No two ways about it.

Tammy had one of the best goals to games ratio of any Chelsea striker in the PL (only behind Costa, Hasselbaink, Eto'o, Stein, Drogba and Crespo respectively).

Goals are invaluable, when you have that at your disposable...one should never ignore and alienate such an option, especially when we've typically struggled for goals.

The same people that would have one believe that he isn't good enough or a backup quality are the same ones that will advocate the signings of the likes of Mitrovic, Calvert-Lewin, Wilson, Ings and claim they are a solution to the striker issue. Daft.
Goes to show how underappreciated Tammy is.

Fortunate that the previous regime did rate this criminally underappreciated striker and inserted a buyback clause, a tiny silver-lining.
