These people are absolute mentalists. People died in India over the rioting because of the content of his book. The guy that translated it into Japanese, perfectly innocent bloke, was murdered at his office. The guy that translated it into Italian had an attempt on his life and the Norwegian publisher was shot. Now Rushdie himself has ended up in ICU, all because a book he wrote was deemed to have some derogatory content about the prophet Muhammad. Something to do with some prostitutes in the story sharing the same name as two of Muhammad’s wives.
These people are stone age facking heathens, savages, sitting on rocks, smearing sheite on their faces and pointing in wonder at the sun.

Well as we know, religion is a cancer.
I’ve not read the book, but from what I understand it was about far more than just criticism of Islam, it’s also a critique of Britain in the 80’s under Thatcher.
