The problem at that club is the players imo, several different managers, but mainly the same body of players, and theyve just gradually got worse and worse, total clearout needed.
Pogba was the first that had to go, Ronaldo needs to fck off now too, Maguire is awful, Freds mince, McTominay stealing a wage, Martials had umpteen chances to prove himself....complete overhaul needed

It's a genuine question tbh. What constitutes a "big club", and are Man Utd a sleeping giant or have they just returned to their "natural" place in the pecking order after Alex Ferguson left? Should they have any more expectation for glory than the likes of Leeds or Everton?

Exactly what I was thinking..........
Every player that was there last season should be for sale. A complete top to bottom overhaul, it’s years late.
They really are fooked, shrinking funds and need minimum 10 players. Will waste money on big names like Rabiot etc but should just be hoovering up the best young players until they are in a better place.
Ten Hag has been caught cold by the league, the guys behind the scenes are wholly incompetent and the owners are leeches.
Don’t see it getting fixed while they own it and for that reason Ten Hag should walk now.

You watched the Brentford game, right? Was it you that said couldn't see it with Hickey? Maybe it was Hamish? I'll admit I was unconvinced too but two game in EPL and he's doing fine - positionally good in defence and not being bullied at all and not cowed by the occasion.
