If I was to do it from my era it would be;

Seaman

Neville Adams Terry A.Cole

Beckham ?? Gerrard ?????

Shearer Kane

Unsure who to have as the holding /box to box midfielder and left winger.

Tbh probably the XI that won the World Cup in 66.

Until England win another title, there’s no player to supersede anyone from that team.

If this group does win a Euro or World Cup, then players like Rice, Bellingham, Saka and Kane will be in.

Good team but a lot of dodgy shiiit went down to get them there. I think the op’s list whilst not perfect would be better.

Rooney's got to be the most over rated player in English football history?
The idea of picking him in that position over Beardsley or Sheringham seems like madness to me.

You rate Seaman over Shilton Barefoot?
Am guessing Shilton was around as recently as Robson was?

Intersting choosing Kane. Unless England with the granted easiest draw possible to the final do it, then he could actually go down as the best striker to win nothing of note. He’s done well but when it’s really counted? Not so sure

Banks off the bench and ‘between the sticks’, Shilts sitting it out.

Greavesie, Mooro & Sir Bobby 👍🏽

Shilton was I'd imagine better in the 70's than he was during the mid late 80's. He was 36 in the 86 world cup and although I watched the 82 world cup I can't recall too much of Shilton.
Domestically didn't see much of him either, unlike Seaman.
Shilton may have been better but his best was before my time.

Who has? I must admit Lineker should and could have made the team. Done well in two world cups.
