Only Onana and Rashford were regular starters. Collyer looked the part, AWB and Casemiro didn't, nor Sancho. Hopefully bye bye to all three.
Also we played some very good stuff.
Last season there were quite a few comments that they would accept a bad result if we played well. Not so much now.

Well they are partly relevant, but neither side had their first team out, and we played some good stuff.
Didnt watch, but i've read we played quite well last night when our 'strongest' 11 was on?
For those who are still unaware of the fact, from a sporting perspective, preseason friendlies are 99% about fitness.

Yeah, and this. In Ten Hag's first pre season we looked brilliant, and then were a complete disaster when the PL kicked off.
This pre season seems to have been managed a bit better than last year's in terms of the amount of travelling we're doing and players getting more than 45 mins per game, which hopefully benefits us.
I'm not going to worry too much about results and performances from a team with about 3 or 4 players who are actually going to start for us.

Not at all worried about any of them.
I am a little concerned about Fulham though. They beat us at OT last season and we are going to be without Rasmus, Yoro and with about 6 players who will have had just the community shield to get some sharpness in the legs.
That game could literally be anything. Nobody in the football world is going to massively shocked if we win that game or even if we lose it.

Pre season friendlies are mostly meaningless I agree.
The issue with what you've just said is most of those players will have had 60-90mins of pre season at the very most and one of them hasn't even signed for us.
Fulham should have their best 11 in better condition than we will.
I've seen enough amazing preseasons followed by terrible starts to the league and vice versa to not read masses into how convincing our performances are. The number of senior players coming back late after the Euros / Copa, however, suggests we may be in for a slow start.

Yeah, there are two choices: play our underprepared first team; or play a mixture of squad players and kids who are largely inferior to Fulham’s players.
It’s the price we pay for stupid international football.
I think cos the pre-season window was so short, a trip overseas wasn’t worth it. But we gotta get that bag of money.
I think there could be some truth to what yer saying Rosso, and maybe take us aboot 3/4 games to get proper going.

Firstly let me start off by saying that I still think ETH should have been sacked.
