Mate, i can understand you saying that, and also to an extent it helps.

But there is something that you dont understand. And that is that it has terror built into it.

When i am symptom free (ofwhatever ive got), i have no trouble being brave about it. It was difficult at first, but as ive got more used to it, and as ive found out more about it, it becomes easier.

This is to the extent that when my symptoms wore off for much of today, i was as happy as ive been in years, even though i knew that it didnt mean that it wouldnt come back, and didnt necessarily mean that i havent got it.

But i have woken up tonight,mwith symptoms again. And with terror.

The terror is built into the virus, and it's simply not a case of thinking oh, fak this, this is better than a spkite toenail.

You dont understand unless you have it.

I dont doubt that youre a brave fella. I dont doht that at all. But in spite of the avalanche of shti on here you read about me, i am too.

And i can tell you, whatever you think you know about hiw the disease can be managed, and no matter how brave you are. It is still fackin horrifically frightening.

I appreciate your comment though, and as i say, to an extent, it does help in trying to rarionalise the natural in built fear that the disease distills within you of it.
