Not so applicable to the UK
Most of the black people i know or met at uni are children of immigrants from Africa and usually still have family over there. The one black girl i have dated was very involved in specifically Ghanaian organisations/movements here
But then in the UK there isn't 'Black pride' stuff much over here at all. In fact they are probably the most divided group in terms of where you are from etc. Caribbean people and West Africans really dont get on. My black mate's family is from Ghana and they clash with her fiance who is from somewhere else.
Huh my old uni housemate's dad is from Saint Lucia but his mum is Ghanaian. Never heard about their families not getting along
Oh well that must make it not true then.
I didnt mean it like that
Just found it interesting. Slightly awkward question to ask him though
Only found something out recently in my own family history. My Mums family didnt approve of my Dad because he was divorced. Caused a massive rift apparently, she didnt talk to her mum for two years
My housemate was a bit racist towards Somalians tbh. He admitted it as well.
That penicillin retort from me was 9.8/10

Nah my uncle had an issue and convinced Granny my Dad was bad news before she even met him
It was my Grandfather that managed to mend all the bridges
I am SOOO Bored at work.
Sales positions on a Friday is the most pointless day ever
"sorry, they're in a meeting"
"sorry they've left for the day"
"sorry they're just in the middle of something"
"sorry they're just on the other line, do you want to email them instead"
Well I'm leaving work so laaaaaaters
Also my dad broke it off with his first wife because he wanted kids and she didnt. She then shacked up with his business partner and they ghosted him.
She shows up 5 years later, 1 year after im born, to visit Dad and she has had two kids with that guy lol
