Flight is a great performance for an average movie.

Again Samuel L, Denzel, Pacino all make my top 10 not top 5.

Dustin Hoffman should also be in top 10.

De Niro is the unquestionable GOAT in my opinion. Big fan of Bale as I mentioned earlier. L Jackson is great.

Pacino is way up there when you think of all his classics; Godfather 1/2, Scar Face, Carlito's Way, Donnie Brasco, Heat...

Someone I think gets underrated is Pitt. Because he's pretty he doesn't get taken as seriously as an actor but I like how despite his looks he's avoided the cliche 'hero' type roles and gone for more marginal roles, especially earlier in his career when he could've traded off his looks/body. Been in some good films; Fight Club, Snatch, Seven, Kalifornia, Benjamin Button, Inglorious Barstards, Interview With a Vampire to name a few.
