2 out the last three weeks I've bet on horses after the result was known. Didn't go crazy. Win just enough that it doesn't draw too much attention. Then use that to make more ambitious legitimate bets. I actually get disproportionately annoyed at getting banned now, as I'm running out of bookies.

Paddy power, William hill, coral, bet365 and a special mention to Betfred who reversed a whithdrawal after it was in my PayPal account and then banned me.

Mugs game. I also can't leave money in account once balance goes above 3k-5k. As i can get drunk and blow it, even though it's not "my money" I can be seething about it for days.

one of the things i didn't understand about last night's show was that he had an account banned after making a handful of normal bets (apparently on the basis that the betting company had determined that he was placing bets on a rational basis or something), but when he was placing bet after bet on individual points and winning hundreds of pounds on every bet, the account didn't get closed down until after he'd won all the money.

what do you mean btw about it not being your money ?

looking back btw, that 19 year old's big sister taught her how to dump me. i was like a desert hare being caught by a cheetah and then given to its young pup to play with for a bit of catching practice before being finished off for dinner. i was supposed to be her first lover, and i just turned into the first guy she dumped.

The end of human civilisation is the only way to help save the planet, an ‘old school goth’ has said. Philosophy professor Patricia MacCormack wants people to stop breeding, saying that giving birth is ‘the worst thing you can do’ if you don’t want to leave much of a carbon footprint.

So, somehow, I want to kill children, which is ridiculous. Somehow, I’m proposing eugenics or some kind of ethnic population control … and I think that what that shows is there is an anthropocentric – or a human – impulse to read acts of grace as, automatically, acts of violence.
