If your in to easy going r&b and rap there's Anderson Paak who really should be in there. Even Jurassic 5 if you want to go back a bit
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I've included Come Down. Thanks Bales

Also enjoyed Dang and the one about money that starts with a B.

Some weird Iron Maiden picks in there Okeydokey, and only having Sandman is a bit sacreligious considering the rest of Metallica. On the flipside, In These Arms being your fave Bon Jovi song means I'm inclined to forgive you.

Then again, music is entirely subjective so what the fack do I know
----------------------------------------------------------------------

wicker man is an odd pick on reflection. not sure how that's happened.

flight of icarus probably won't make the 100 either.

children of the damned deserves a spot i reckon.

i like wasted years, but, yeah. i've not covered myself in glory there.

i like rhyme of the ancient mariner but it's too damn long. maybe should have hallowed be thy name. it was in at one point but i seem to have taken it out. same with revelations.

what would be your maiden songs ? they did so many good ones.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're all bangers tbf, but Hallowed Be Thy Name is (in my opinion) their best track by some distance. An insanely bright spot in an otherwise very overrated album.

Aces High should be on any Maiden list for me too. Got a soft spot for Blood Brothers too after I learned to play it as a kid - the whole Brave New World album tbh, that was my first Maiden album when it came out when I was 12. I think the mid to late 80s was their golden age (Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, Seventh Son albums) so most of my fave tracks are on those. Caught Somewhere in Time actually, that's another of their best

Interesting, that’s somewhat against the grain. I don’t really know enough about her to have overarching positive or negative opinions - but have worked with a lot of people from mining towns directly affected by her policies and in some instances they remember not having enough money for food some weeks

the BBC did a 5 part docu on her last year, which is on IPlayer and currently re runnning (part way through) on BBC4. It's the 2nd best documentary i've ever watched (after the BBC documentary on the yugoslavia civil war).

A TOWN that usually hosts a Christmas market is enjoying being free of that shhhhit for a year.

Residents of Whitby are in universal agreement that the absence of tacky stalls and throngs of shoppers p55sed on mulled wine is actually preferable to having them.

Resident Martin Bishop said: “The bleak weather makes town look even more empty and desolate than usual. It’s a miserable sight that warms my heart.

“Usually at this time of year I have to barge my way through swarms of t wvvats by windmilling my fists, but now I stroll down the street swinging my arms around without a care in the world.

“Except for coronavirus and the impending economic collapse, obviously.”

Local shopkeeper Donna Sherridan said: “You’d think the reduced footfall would be bad news for me. But now idiots can buy overpriced 5hhhhhit they don’t need from my shop instead of from a garden shed covered in LEDs.

“Incidentally, can I interest you in a wooden tie? It’s only £68 for two.”

THE Premier League is beset by issues like goals disallowed because two millimetres of a striker’s soul has strayed offside. But it happened way before VAR – here’s how:

Soft lads with sleeve tattoos

In the old days, footballers sported ink more in keeping with a prison yard than the premiership. Now a sleeve tattoo comes fitted as standard with your Premier League debut. And don’t get us started on Louis Vuitton wash bags.

Choreographed celebrations

Scoring a goal used to be a subdued affair: a quick handshake with your teammates, a pat on the back if you’re feeling extravagant, nothing gay. But putting your side 1-0 up now leads to an embarrassing choreographed dance routine. Bundling in a corner from a yard out does not require a backflip.

Post-match Instagram

In simpler times, the only chance to interact with a footballer was visiting the pub they bought after retiring injured aged 27. In the era of social media, our footballing heroes are never more than an abusive comment on Instagram away. The world doesn’t need a post calling a drab 0-0 away at Burnley a ‘well-earned point’.

Pink football boots

These days, the kind of colourful boots that used to make you the target for a good kicking in any Sunday League fixture are all the rage. The new boots look like they’re made of cobwebs, candy floss and sunshine and yet managers are still shocked when the players who wear them get routinely injured.

Awful sponsors

In the world of full kit vvankers it can be hard to support your local team because no-one wants to be a walking advertisement for Flamingo Land. Bring back the days when kids went to school with McEwans Lager emblazoned on their chests.

It'd obvs become far too cosy there for everyone.

Paying dividends now anyway. I'm sure Auto can get on board the Spurs train
