Lol you get cases like Barkley last year though when he fell off a cliff and disappeared
Barkley never lived up to the Rooney hype.

Obviously this has gone down a predictable route however GNers thoughts on this? I struggle to see the apparent racism other than using a kitchen item to replicate cultural attire.

Does PL experience matter at all with a coach? I feel like it’s had no effect whatsoever - if anything I’d say the best coaches in the league came without PL experience
Not a bad point
Who is the best coach that had experience in the PL before he joined a club and won his trophies?

Probably Jose
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Huh? He was at his best when fresh to the league
The question:
Is Ranieri actually good?
Has long plagued the greatest of football philosophers
Ranieri is the only PL winning manager who had previous PL experience with another club
Im cheating a little bit though as Dalglish had managed Liverpool in the old football league before Blackburn
Jose is the only other PL manager to really succeed with PL experience
What sort of numbers do you think Foden will end up converting per season in his peak?

Brendan
I envisage his peak to be more in the middle of the park so possibly not that much really.
Somebody made a point which I liked, that it’s nice City have a load of players who haven’t really got a defined position yet - it does make the game more interesting
When you say that Jose succeeded do you mean his 2nd time with us or his Utd stint?

I meant in terms of titles. Otherwise you could say Poch, Redknapp, Benitez etc
Ah ok
I was blurring Jose's time in charge of us into 1
