Talking of cricket... we played the best team in our division on Sat. They won the league last year and look even better now.

They won the toss and bowled us out for 42

I was batting no6 and was the only player not to get out. I faced 33 balls and scored 1 run. I was telling my team mates to dig in and try and play out the 40 overs. Thought they would eventually bring on some bowlers we could attack. We lasted 24 overs.

Anyway, we also bowled very well and at one point had them 25-5

One of our bowlers took 2 in 2 balls and then another wicket after the hat trick ball, so 3 wickets in one over!

They eventually got the runs but we made a game of it at least

I know, I was in test match mode... leaving anything wide and just playing balls on my stumps.

They are a very good bowling side. I was batting 6 and went in when their openers were still on

Have stayed at a hostel for 2 days. Not really enjoyed it and looking forward to moving on this morning. I did entertain the girls in the next room with my dancing the night before last which was quite good fun (until i had them lined up as numbered dance show contestsnts at which point one of them started to get the a55), but generally - unlike when i was here 7 years ago when it sermed like all that mattered in the world - I've not found the company of the younger generation to be anything i'm really interested in courting.

Got a nice walk planned for tomorrow morning on the next island which i'm looking forward to.

Just realised I had a Microsoft 365 subscription at £6 a month for the last 12 months which Ive not even used. Was a miracle I could remember my login details to cancel it.

People around the world must spend billions every year on subscriptions they can't work out how to cancel or don't know they have.

The owner's wife blew me a kiss when I left anyway. Nice people, nice place, but crowd wayyyy too young and wayyy too canadian.

I reckon about half the people currently in this chain of greek islands arw canadian females aged 19-22.

It's like listening to a contest of people scraping nails down a blackboard everywhere you go.

It's so hard now to.imagine the world without the word 'like'. How would you express how you or someobe else was feeling or what you are they were doing before that word ????

Yeah it's a decent time to come. Not too busy so rooms are cheap. Good weather for walking. You blow for a few seconds after getting into the sea but it's bearable.

I yearn for Thailand though.
