Rumours circulating that Marathe met or is going
to meet Farke to 'talk' - I hope the first bullet point
in this one is "you will sit Meslier rest of the season,
no discussion. End of. Darlow starts."

Batts … “seething” is EXACTLY the right word. Ferrucking fuming right now (pity the delivery driver/JW who knocks on my door)🤬

The problem he has Batty, is that he has backed his players all season as they are the ones that got Leeds top after 38 games. Now, can you see him dropping his two favourite players at the most critical part of the season? It would be a massive admission of being guilty of having made the wrong choices for a long time now.

Will he undermine his own perceived superior knowledge? I highly doubt it.

And further to that….if he changes the goalie, and no 10, and things don’t go well, he may even turn around and rub it in our faces. Because let’s face it, there’s a good chance it won’t work at this late stage.

Probably lost in this disgrace of an aftermath is the fact that Swansea should've scored from the pen (awful attempt), hit the woodwork, ran midfield (O'Brien), and
had the toughest fighter on the pitch in Delcroix.

Swansea should've won easily. We were that crap.

Normally I find it fairly easy to switch off after a bad result, the last few years especially but today I’m the same as you. Stupidly got my hopes up after that Sheff Utd win and just thought we’d coast home.

We need to drop Meslier and start Gnonto - number 10 or right wing, he’s too good not to play.

I do think Gnonto will start next game, if he didn’t have the injury then he might have started Swansea. Meslier…I don’t see him dropping although his comments yesterday didn’t back him, he just said it’s not a conversation a manager should have in public which is different to what he said before.

Things can change quickly in football, like we lost to Pompey but then the midweek game we won and they both drew. That’s the only positivity I can manage right now. Burnley away at Cov and then a tougher Derby team than before.

Worst performance by a mile this season.

Big believer in goals and moments change games.

This is the biggest worry from yesterday.

30 second goal should open the game up for us, and is perfect for our style.

Didnt happen

Pen save should have been a massive boost, never was.

Some of the performances , were desperate.

The team isnt young, full of experience, but by god that was terrible

You have to question the absolute basics here.
How on earth can a player of Gnonto’s quality be sat on the bench for the majority of the season?

He would walk into any side into the division, and possibly some prem sides as well.

His short cameo appearances off the bench have been fantastic as well, it’s mind blowing.

James and Solomon hit good form yes, but the lack of rotation and the insistence on playing Aaronson is beyond ridiculous. Now we have 2 wingers who look absolutely shattered, out of form.

Then you’ve got Meslier. Is there a worse goalkeeper in the division?

To the final sentence, in my honest opinion, no.

Ditto. Normally feel much better after a night's sleep.

Almost exactly 24 hours on, possibly feel even more angry.

Maybe not but Farkes to blame for the lack of imagination and sticking with his favorites when they obviously don't deserve it.

Want to point out, when I say "Farke's picking his faves...to the detriment of the team" I'm not trying
to sh 1 t on the players. It's not their fault.

It's Farke's.

My opinion is Meslier is very poor. Has been for
several seasons. But he doesn't pick himself.

Bamford is a colossal waste of valuable resources
that otherwise could be used on a player(s) who
might actually contribute. Okay, yeah he's fcking
sh 1 t and I loathe the robbing kant.

But, outside of that, Farke's Faves do not pick
themselves. They go out week after week and
give their all for the club and Farke.

The least this clueless tw 4 t could do is use
his very good squad effectively to guard against
what we're now seeing.

Saying all that, I'm not holding my breath.

I for one will be happy when he's gone.
(And Meslier. Specifically Bamford). Wasters.

I think once we all calm down a bit and look at the situation in front of us, we may come back to life a little.
Yes, our form has dipped. The performance was the worst of the season. Farke is making some huge tactical and selection mistakes. But….those players are still good enough, whoever he picks, to go out and get us promoted in the last 7 games.

Then we can have a meltdown on who should be axed.

Thought I'd get up this morning feeling better about things, but I honestly think we've blown it.

7 games left...

After game 25, Sheffield had their worst 7 game run of the season accumulating just 11 points...12 wins, 1 draw, and 1 defeat since.

Burnley had a run early in the season gaining just 10 points from 7 games, at game 30 they had a run of 7 games accumulating just 11 points...7 wins, 2 draws, and unbeaten since.

We are currently on our worst 7 game run since game 14, accumulating just 12 points.

Sheffield are the only team to have won 7 in a row, we have had 6 wins and a draw, and Burnley 5 wins and 2 draws.

It's still possible for us to win 6 and draw 1, finishing on 100 points and finish 3rd.

Looks like we have the easier game on paper again coming up, why can I see us struggling at Luton.

I understand this viewpoint.

However, Farke is making, as you already said,
huge tactical and selection mistakes...
in the Championship. What will he be like in
the Prem? Where the managers are the top of
the top in the world. Fake is clearly nowhere near
that level of manager. So if we do manage to
salvage things and go up, we now not only have
invest heavily in building a Prem squad, we also
have to find a manager capable of keeping us up.

Farke holds the keys to our future.

How fcking scary is that?

steross, it's where I am too. Momentum has gone.
Clearly Rodon wants to punt Meslier into the street.
You can tell he's seething too. Would not be shocked
to hear that he and the Welsh lads want Darlow.

I know there's at least 3 posters on here who are
keeping their heads down for now. If we beat Luton
they'll be back crotch thrusting in our faces saying
we all know fck all.

The obvious truth of our failings is hard to ignore.

What a normal manager would select for Luton with Amps replacing Struiyk at the back which may be harsh on Struiyk but he's an excellent sub to bring on. ...we will see if DF confirms whether he is normal or not around 11.30 am on Saturday.

Darlow
Bogle
Firpo
Rodon
Amps
Tanaka
Rothwell
Gnonto
Piroe
James
Solomon

Think we'll need Struijk's aerial ability against Luton. Ampadu was awful yesterday as well, so not sure I'd be rushing to put him in defence.
