caveat to above however, if Frank thinks BJ is better suited as a foil for Solanke I can see that, he's just not a winger who takes people on and gets a devastating cross in.

Thinking about MGW from a team outlook it's a solid signing. Not spectacular but will be a valuable asset I guess.

Probably not as much flair as Maddison but I'd say definitely more effective, younger and more versatile.

I’m with you mate. Totally underwhelmed. Feels like another BJ / Solanke type signing, massively overpaying for someone who’s not at the right level if we have any real ambition. It’s funny because we all hate Levy for being so stingy but then he goes and spends so much money on average players. Also not quite sure where MGW fits into the team, surely we need to find a buyer for some of our deadwood?

Very good player though unsure exactly how he fits in. Is he more of a central mid than 10 now?

Either way, fair play to Levy. £115m spent on two excellent footballers early in the window.

Our squad now seems quite stacked in some places.

However, if VDV gets injured there is a big drop off at left side of centre back and the same goes for Udogie at left back.

Good signing for Spurs, Gibbs-White is grate.

One of the most underestimated players in the league imo. Albeit different player. But for me it’s akin to Dembele signing and the overall effect it will have on the first 11. He can do it all in my book

Mgw would be the perfect creative number 6 for Frank imo.

He is quality. Completely different to Eze.

His numbers doesn't show what an important influence he is on the team.

I am not sure how you fit both Madders & MGW in the same team, so will be interesting to see how that plays out

Just not astounded by this signing like others.

Grealish will likely end up at Everton or Newcastle now, unless he rocks up in Serie A. He would do well there.

There will be games both could start together. But in the main I’d imagine MGW starts over him. I’d see Maddison used by Frank like he used Damsgard at Brentford.
