How the fack is Horrenderson still making England squads, he has never been good enough

Internationals have bored me to fack for many years and we've made numerous finals. Don't get me wrong i appreciate their effort in that etc and the pressure they're under and the progress they've made compared to past teams. I'm proud of them, and fully supportive when it comes to it.

Yet I still find it ball achingly bad to watch us play football, especially group qualifying etc.

eng u21s have been a far better watch, not cos they win the facking tourns either. But because they play good footy, play the right players who deserve to be playing who play well and together, can see the football on display can enjoy it.

Always the managers fault with England. The country’s national team can never play decent football. Never has and never will. 442/443, the end result is the same.

They’ve got to do something about international qualifiers, why are we playing Andorra, what’s the point?

England have lost 1 international qualifier in 16 years - will probably lose to Serbia now I’ve said that, but still it’s absolutely mental. If Serbia don’t beat what is an incredibly uninspiring England side on Tuesday then that record is likely to stretch to 17 or 18 years.

I just don’t get the appeal of this qualifying process and its utter shiete that the Prem season gets disrupted for games that few give a shaky one about.

I agree to a certain level, but I do think it’s fair to point out that this Tuchel side so far is particularly dull. It’s all about control. It’s utter pony to watch.

These games are a complete nonsense anyway. Stop interrupting the league season and play a mini qualifying tournament post season.

It would actually shorten the seasons overall and reduce the likelihood of player burnout.

You'd have a lot more time for the logistics as there'd be no friendlies or nonsense like the Nations League. At the moment they've attempted to maximise the number of games, condensing all of those into the end of the season might be challenging, fecking off friendlies entirely and nonsense like the nations League, then having a small qualifying tournament would be gr8.

Completely agree, it’s a farce. Why not make these groups 1 game rather than playing each team twice - highest ranking side has to play away. Would make Englands group so much more interesting if we’ve got to qualify only playing away games. Also cuts 4 games out, get rid of the nations league and we’ve got far less of this complete shiete international football

I feel the same way, I knew the game was on but couldn't be bothered with it. Switched on at about 70 minutes but didn't even watch until the end and wasn't excited when we scored. Switched off before the end and didn't even check the score.

I had it on for the 2nd half and tbf the opposition gk made some ridiculous worldy saves so 2 nil was not a fair reflection of England's dominance and could easily have been and should have been 5 or 6 but yes the interest factor nowadays is quite low and interrupting the domestic season for these one sided games is extremely irritating.

Nothing will change though as most top home nations FA's especially England's need the revenue from about 6 home international games each year, rinsing the supporters in the process so that's that and at least it puts the spotlight on league one, two and non league but
yes it's still annoying cancelling the EPL and Championship for these mostly turgid affairs.

Of course they could continue those games and not cancel the top 2 leagues without their called up international players and clubs be forced to use their U21's or squad players that haven't been called up...that would level up things for quite a few sides and make it
interesting???

I lost some interest when we appointed a German manager and what makes it worse is he appears to be doing a poor job, one that the alternative English 'inferior' options would have probably done no worse with. In a way I have little sympathy for fans who were happy with Tuchel.

But aside from that England always seem to play low tier opposition in these friendlies, it's just so dull and very rarely helps build excitement for it.

Got bored of watching England years ago. Boring qualifiers and friendlies punctuated by the usual tournament disappointment. Even getting to.finals and semis under Southgate was boring.

Until I was about 35 I watched all (and I mean all) England football games on TV.

Now the only game I would watch is if we were in a final.

We should be beating Andorra at least 6 nil at home, even if they park the bus.

We're just awful now.
