Look, how else would you want it.
Day of the underdog, is just the way Barnsley like it. The second we have a sniff of success we slump and start to languish. The pressure knocks us out of our stride. I'd rather clubs arrive at Oakwell, brimming with confidence that the three points are already in the bag, and then come 4.45pm, the Tykes have taken them down a peg or two.
Write us off at your peril, suits us fine.
it does look a stronger league all round this season teams coming up will be full of confidence though peterborough might struggle without mcsmith. southampton and brighton might be able to push on (leeds, norwich, millwall, wheres all the boys and girls that predicted they would struggle).
teams from the prem dont appear to be financially running round like headless chickens trying to get shut of everyone so we could be in for a tough season indeed my friend.
our attendances will be in the the bottom 4/5 so yes my friend the bookies might actually have got this one right, ive listened to KH and he does talk a good game so he will get my total support as robins did, lets just pray KH can pick up a few little gems from the murky waters of the lower divisions and steer us to a top half finish
what's the odds on yer stopping up..
.. be better odds for you lucky gamblers
Pile on Watford at 7/2...
Coventry must be one of the favourites to drop they were in trouble last year financially as well as on the pitch. So along with Donny and maybe Millwall 2nd season thing
Personally, I fancy Donny, Palace and Peterborough to go down.
Donny were in free fall last season, Palace have struggled for a couple of seasons and Peterborough may miss Mackail-Smith goals... Either way, an interesting season afoot.
