I reckon the Kiwi's will win by 10

Still no announcement by Mcnamara regarding the England line up,Newspapers saying possible team will be the same as last week.
Some forums saying that Ellis is out,Peacock doubtfull and Grahem should make it.
Positive thinking all round, the Kiwis must be laughing their socks off at the indecision by Mcnamara. He should have given the doubtfull players until lunchtime yesterday to prove their fitness,so that he could bed any replacements into the team tactics.

I hope your right rabbits, but i have doubts about Steve McNamara's team selections and tactics.
If England do win i would expect them to beat Australia in the final, as if England can beat the Kiwis with McNamara's tactics and team selection they can beat anyone.

Very tight game could go either way but gonna stay positive England by 4

Well done England.... this result has given this 4 nations tournament the injection it needed.
Hopefully in the up-coming week we can get a bit of banter happening but I can see it now......you pommies will be knocking McNamara all week along with the ref and then if you win it will be then that the this board will light up like a christmas tree.....

But I promise you I will be here with my chin out if England happen to win, shame we can't have a pint on it..

28 - 6.....

P.s....I see you have organised this weeks games to suit yourselves, bloody pommies getting an extra day off in the lead up to the final an all........

if we win next Saturday us poms have to admit we where wrong about Steve Mcnamara....lets hope the guy proves us all wrong I think we might just nick it.

Barra, the frightening thing is that if we win next week the RL are likely to give Mcnamara a 10 year contract.

Souths,I dont think you Aussies will mind England organising an extra day off as long as you lot can organise who refferees the match.

Perenara will be the ref....Kiwi.
Mind you I think he is to inexperienced for the job whilst your bloke needs a see & eye dog to help him.

Should be Thierry Alibert of France, who does a very good impression of an headless chicken when things warm up.

By the way ,they gave the M.O.M to Kevin Sinfield who played well and kicked all his goals. In my opinion though my M.O.M Ben Westwood,I think he played the full 80min (or seemed to ) and he never shirked either taking the ball up or a making a tackle all match.

Two disgusting decisions by the ref, guttless, both should have gone, no of's or but's

Dennis.....please explain.

For some bloody reason the t.v rights holder channel-9 have taken upon themselves to not broadcast this weekends games...the OZ Vs Wales game doesn't concern me to much other then injuries but I would of loved to of seen the Kiwi's Vs Pommies game...

There a couple of reports on the Jeremy Smith and Isac Luke incedents in the Sydney Morning Herald. What as got fans going over here is the Ref was heard to say to Luke " you where deliberatly trying to injure his leg (Chase) that is why you are going on report '. Even Kearney said that Luke will have to clean his act up.

Bloody idiot, he is no good to anyone sitting on the sidelines doing time........it is such a gutless play and he is good enough without doing such rubbish....

Apparently the OZ team have played 18 players by accident.....will England see to it they are disquallified or what....

14 on the field (13 players plus ref ) we can live with, but I must say 18 is a bit much,it just isnt cricket.

Yes, but we have Watmough.....he is good for at least 3 penalties and 5 missed tackles...

Isaac Luke comes across as a cheap little coward with his attempts to injure opponents. RL's a tough sport as it is ... you don't need muppets trying to cause deliberate (and potentially serious) injuries...... twisting a leg/knee like that could've caused longterm damage to the joint/ligaments......... all done with a smile on his chops .....

posted on 14/11/11

I know it's not the PC thing to say, but Luke is the sort of player who you want to see try to tackle an 18st prop on the rampage, and be cleaned up and knocked out in the process.

After that display on Chase, I'd be happy if he never played again.

What gets me is..... 3 years ago we went into the season with high expectations with purchasing Craig Wing's return to South's and 10 minutes into our first game Wing was held up in a tackle and young Riley came rushing in and hit Wing right on the knees (he fell like a bag of sheit) Wing was on the sideline for the entire season bar 3 games along with South's expectations out the window as soon as that tackle was made....it's not as if Luke doesn't understand the danger that it causes because he has witnessed it first hand.....very low act..

------------------------------------
Don't get me wrong here... the ref had an excellent game i thought. Just made good decisions for the most part, not seemingly favouring one side or the other.

But surely if he stated the above (and i heard him say something along those lines) - then the minimum should've been a yellow? To know a player has deliberately attempted to injure an opponent, must carry as dismissal? What does it take in RL these days to get 10 minutes? The facility is there - bloody use it!!!

A couple of send off's would soon stop any future threat of somebody losing their career over one grubs poor actions.
I enjoy nothing more then watching a game where I have got a love-hate relationship with....it's gives me something to support when my team is not playing and I just love seeing Watmough & Lyon to a lesser degree getting belted and smacked on their arise in a solid clean bone rattler.........even on Sat. against England I'll be the first one up cheering if Westwood or Morley put Grub Watmough on his arise....

Issac Luke banned for two matches,Jeremy Smith banned for one match.
Both players are to challenge these suspensions.

I think they are lucky and I can't see what grounds of appeal they would have.....it was there for all to see the bloody idiots..Hopefully Luke will learn something out of this and move on and play the game for what it's for....he is certainly good enough.
