Pitches in the subcontinent usually get very very high first innings scores quite regularly, hence the general misconception of them being called batting paradise.
People forget what it's like in the second innings. A 3rd inning lead of even 200 gives you a very good chance of winning.
I was one that also predicated a draw, especially on this track. Thing is Amir, people can only go by the history of that pitch, and the abu dhabi pitch has played differently today than it has done in the past. What was your predication based on regarding the pitches before the series?
I still think that 400+ is a par score on this pitch, and 3 of our batsmen probably shot themselves in the foot for their wickets. Agree about Broad though.

Well there aren't any demons in the pitch, but it's not a batsmans paradise in the sense that you'll see run rates of 3.5+.
It shouldn't be surprising that modern batting lineups struggle to show the patience to build big scores on these pitches, but it is nonetheless.
I made it before the series on Afridi's prediction thread... I also predicted a 2-1 Pakistan win in the series...

Same here.....I had 2 - 0 to England, but can't say I am disappointed in being proven wrong just the same.....Pakistan 1 - 0 up is healthy for test cricket even if the chest beaters don't think so........
Sydney... Well before the series began I'd thought Pakistan would win the first game, be their typical selves in the 2nd Test & lose... then make changes, i.e. bring in Umar Akmal, Junaid etc.. and win the final game.
So to answer your question, 2nd test. Though, Junaid is playing in this game, it'll be interesting to see how he performs.
