with the possible penalty being a stripping of titles won..

Where did you get this info? What rule book says this?

Why not strip the titles?

Rangers, by fielding ineligible players, would have VOIDED their results.

We pumped Sion six nil, remember?

Sammy brace in the away tie.

What is it with all the Celtic fans and conspiracies ffs?
As if the patter around your own team and refs, and linesmen and the government were not bad enough, now we're getting a different "revelation" every day from people apparently "in the know"?

Some people are so gullible, they'll believe anything that any old b@wbag tells them

That's why you sound so convincing, brooky.

We shall see how it pans out. For the sake of sporting integrity, though, if this turns out to be true, I'm sure you would want any dodgy titles removed from your record haul, no?

I would guess that virtually every footballer in the EPL and probably a few in the SPL have more than one contract in place for remuneration from playing activities.

One will be for basic wages and the other(s) for "image fees" etc. All are directly related to that player playing football for that club.

Indeed, DC1, but the rub here is whether SFA officials 'overlooked' improper conduct regarding contracts and registration.

As I said, it's just allegation. Let's hope it isn't substantiated, because that's a whole new level of doo doo that could impact our national team and our club's challenges in europe going forward.

the obsession continues

read the story and you find more. than a few ifs buts or maybes but you are still over it like its gospel.

calm down timmy, you are working yourself into a frenzy.

I reckon our dissappointment of going into liquidation if it happens won't be near the disappointment you lot will feel should we win tax case.

you hate rangers more than you love your own club

I just hate foul play, ek.

'Then surely it's an SFA problem and not a Rangers one?'

Hypothetical of course, but improper registration would invalidate any results gained during the term. So I would imagine it would be a Rangers problem.

so if the sfa had incorrectly registered a Celtic player in 1967 , through no fault of celtic, you would be looking to hand back the European cup?

May be right, tim, bit of a disturbing pattern emerging here.

Taxman - fooked it here, need to shaft the Rangers

SFA - fooked it here, need to shaft the Rangers

What or who will be next to make an arris of things at our expense?

ek,

You don't get it. I'm referring to a level of complicity between Rangers and the SFA. In other words the SFA turning a blind eye to dodgy registrations.

IF, and it's a big if, obviously, this has happened, then it is a real scandal.

Jim Farry's error was one thing, but this would be on a whole new level, and could jeapordise Scottish football in the eyes of UEFA nad FIFA.

Prolly all bollox, though.

if the sfa turned a blind eye then how can rangers be punished for that?

its the sfa who is in the wrong IF this has happened

Aye, ek, but the key word is 'complicit', which means a knowing/understanding between two parties.

If a polis turns his back while his pal robs an old dear, it doesn't mean that it's just the polis who gets done.

Again, for the record, probably all nonsense. Nothing substantial to suggest otherwise, just something to kick about an internet forum.
